I used both GB & ICS, this phone worked perfectly but its its response is little bit slow after upgrading to ICS. BUt lots of improvement took place. The thing for which I am waiting is 4.1(JB).

Is it really possible to upgrade it's ginger bread into ICS? Any body here did that successfully? I heard that Sliding phones lack longivity as the ribbon gets damaged again and again. I would love to have such a handset having qwerty and touch screen at the same time. Plz any1 mention some disadvantages of this handset (if any).

Got this phone today. I think it' pretty great, I just love the qwerty is great. I don't mind that it has Android 2.4, it's not that important for me, I think I'll upgrade it in the future but I'm not very sure about it

If you want a slide out keyboard, this is the phone to get. Even ignoring that, it's still a great phone for the price.

HI, I am seeing very negative posts here, so just wished to post my own experience of xperia pro,
1. This is really very excellent product from SE
2. updated to android 4 through PC campanion long back
3. After updating to 4, its more smooth, and experience is amazing. No issue at all, RAM and internal memory has managed very well, no lag issue at all.
4. New features of android 4 working very well
5. No issue with keypad, its working fine
I am really surprised how people r facing problem on such amazing phone whether its gingerbread or icecream sandwich, as I hv experienced both.
This is perfect package in 16-18 thousands.
Anyone who is planning to buy this, just go for it.

Hey I've been using this phone for almost 6 months. And now the receiver part of the phone is not functioning properly, as in, I cannot hear the other person talking via the receiver part of the phone, when I'm on a call. But I listen via the earphone and talk through the reciever they have provided with that nowadays. Its not actually that convenient. Help me with this. My phone is running on 2.3.4 Gingerbread Android and Build number 4.0.2.A.0.62. Will an upgrade to ICS remove this problem? Or should i get a software upgrade. Help please. Thanks.
