hdraz, 21 Aug 2012i update my xperia pro to the new software 4.0 ( ice cream ... morehere how i fixed my slow xperia pro.
after update to ics4.04 do a factory reset.
install ics4.04 again using sony ppc. do a repair install, it wont take long.
factory reset the phone again.
uninstall the stupid antivirus software bundle.
it works for me. no more lag or slowdown. smooth ICS4.04 (^^)

and if it is , does the ics upgrade solve that ?

It seems that many people who have up upgraded their Xperia pros to ICS have had the problem with the physical keyboard being converted from QWERTY to AZERTY.
But is it everyone? Is there any of you, who have upgraded to ICS, that have NOT had this problem? You prompt reply would be greatly appreciated.

LED Notifications now work for both new messages, new E-mails, missed calls, and 3rd party apps.
Blazingly fast Home Launcher, without the lag.
Facebook Integration for Xperia is changed with "Sony Facebook Integration", nothing has changed except the name.
No lags for HD Video Recording, even with the Image Stabilization turned on
Blu-Ray movies (HD 720p video, 5.1 ch audio) are now playable without lags (tried using MX Player)
Dialer now opens at 1-2 seconds only, plus the Smart Dialer function works now without lags and sound errors.
Contacts can now be accessed faster when choosing the recipients for SMS.

New update has arrived for my xperia pro. Version 4.1.B.0.587, but i havent tried it yet. Check it out guys. It is a bug fix update as i mentioned before.

i bought this 3days before.upgraded to ICS 4.0.4. when i type Q with my physical key board i get A.when i type A i get Q.same problem between W and Z.no prob with touch keyboard.i m confused whether i had this problem from the beginning or not.HELP me plz

guys plz help me out.. m gonna buy it today but i am confused between xperia pro and xperia U
i am getting both at the same price and the diff that i have found is pro has 3.7' display and 8 mp camera as well as xpndable memory with ICS upgrade also available.. but the only con is that it is almost 1.5 yr old and xperia U is more attractive and latest. help me out plz.

@hdraz thats becoz u didnt root ur phone correctly.....i had the same prblm....like lagging and all......but i root it again now it is working perfectly ^_^

i update my xperia pro to the new software 4.0 ( ice cream sandwich ) but the new soft has alot of problems with my phone , and act toooo slowly which make me bored from it ?????
