Anyway its time to get a QWERTY HD fone, but i didnt see Sony announce any, or did i miss something here?? And it has to be Sony, Im not buying HTC ever again, so unstable and low quality, i really dont see the point in making a heavyweight expensive metal housing and then filling it with poorly assembled hardware and extra slow and bloated software, and then the crap even cost more than a durable and stable SE/Sony?

I've been using this phone for about a month now, overall it's more than great.....but 1 thing annoys me is that is does not have a pause option the in video recording mode? How can I fix this...any suggestions??

hey guyz I have a problem on my xperia pro. during updating I accidentally click cancel and when i removed my phone could not start. I did restart and removed battery but still no changes..can someone help me with this?

I updated my xperia pro to ICS on June 11 and it works great.
It comes with the new gallery wherein ur pictures are not downgraded unlike with the "xperia gallery".
I have no problem with the video recording and video playback.
In the settings, there is an added option wherein you can see and control ur data usage.
"Developer Options" - this is an option which was added as well.
The transition was great, very very great ^_^, compared with the previous GB.
However, I experience very very very FEW lags (NOTE: this only happens whenever I'm playing a certain game and I exit the game, the icons in the home screen would not appear at the same time, it's only for a few seconds). We can expect it with android, almost all android phones experience this. And besides, back when my phone was in Gingerbread, it happens too, so it's nothing to consider about.
The only problem I've had with the ICS is wth my MX player (this is a video player). I tried some other video players in the android market but they won't work too.
during my trial and error period, I ended up with the DICE player, and it works great now. Maybe some apps were not yet compatible with the ICS since Android 4.0 is new.
But there are like thousands of apps available, so it is again, nothing to worry about.
All I can say is that you must update your MK16 to ICS so you can enjoy your phone better especially the camera. If you encountered a problem, try to solve it, every problem has a solution, there is no progress if you won't risk trying something new. If there is really a problem, you can bring your phone to Sony customer services and they can downgrade your phone back to Gingerbread.
That's all. These are all based on my experience of using my phone with the ICS on it.

Hi, I'm interested in buying the phone. I'm wondering how the build quality is like? Cos I'm thinking of buying a set without warranty and I'm wondering if it will really affect it. Anyone had any problems with it, hardware wise? Thank you very much!

2 not sure, maybe with an app, the screen is 4x4 ico... more2.in gigerbread rom you can't change the widget size in sony home launcher ,but in ics rom some widget can be changed,but u can use 3rd party launcher to change any widget.
4.he asked about the glitches and not the gyro,and there is no gyro in xperia pro,only accelerometer available

if anyone having the problem in update then have the sony update software available at sony official website then choose your phone and then update it it would download your software then install on your phone thats a better idea to update..................

2 not sure, maybe with an app, the screen is 4x4 icons, with 5 main screens, by default
3 its ok, you may need to shade it with your hand, but usable

Dear users of Xperia Pro,
for those who have updated the phone to ICS, how's the performance of the phone now?
Is there any major improvement over the previous version?
Or does it createe new problems? (I heard quite a lot of ppl experience problems in Wi-Fi connection, video recording, touch sesiitivity, the phone being laggy, etc.)
Is the update to ICS worth it, or is it better to stay with GB.
Any response would be appreciated.

2.not with sony home launcher but u can download 3rd party launcher app from google market,in the new ics update some widgets can be resized.
3.in sunlight it is good u will still be able to use the phone .
4.the new ics update need to be fixed.
the phone is excellent for its price,i can help u more if i know ur other choices :)

2)the widget size can be adjusted as seen in motoblur
3)how is the screen in sunlight and does it have gyroscope
4)other glitches the owners :) face and feel the need to fix
