I get 13 to 14 hours battery life a day, am pretty satisfied with that. I make voice calls upto 1:30 hours and web browsing and face book app both for 1 hour minimum. and the display brightness was always 40%, and data traffic is always on ....and when I am back in home the the battery left was about 25% to 35%.then I play 20 to 30 minutes angry bird, then the battery left was 10% or less...this was my daily usage. in first days I get only 8 to 10 hours battery life. after that I charged my cell only after the battery reaches 2 to 3 % or after the cell goed off , this will increase your battery life.although the talk time is better, if you only use voice calls as in a busy day, the stand by is good too...several times I used my phone for voice calls only then I get 15 to 16:30 hours cell life. voice calls was upto 2:30 to 3 hours, and. the brightness was still 40% not much other functions used.

Radical, 07 May 2012Hi, I have been a medium to a little heavy user and the ... moreThe #1 thing that uses battery is the screen. If you have the screen on continuously it will last a working day. On standby, however, I have also seen it last more than a week.

Apart from that you can see what has been using your battery in settings-> about phone. Make sure you are not using any " task killers" as these do more harm than good. Don't use too many widgets either, and some applications can be badly behaved ( Facebook, McAfee are a couple of common culprits). Don't worry about GPS - you can leave it enabled as GPS only uses battery in an application that uses it. Turn off WiFi when not in use.

However, to reiterate, the main battery sucker is the screen. You could also try turning down your brightness

                          Hi,

I have been a medium to a little heavy user and the battery dies at the end of day..
Whenever on standby, I shut off GPS, Background data and sync. I have the phone on minimum brightness at all times. Seldom use Wifi and bluetooth.
Can the more experienced users please let me know how do I further ensure saving the battery ?
I see a lot of apps running the background, half of which I dun even know the function, but most of these hardly use any space so I dun mind.
Could these apps be reason for battery leakage?
                          Please advise

Anyone who wishes to buy this. stop thinking about it and go buy it already. b4 the stocks run out... best damn phone ive ever used... my opinion dont go for the neo. its a nice phone and all it docent have a key pad.
if you dont like it just let it hide under the screen.

side hint if you ppl ar gamers and love to play gameboy games. this is the best. other than the xplay.
(you can use the keypad on GBE's)

all and all 9.5/10 .5 cos the battery goes down fast when browsing net through the mobile carrier. (so use wi-fi lasts much much longer,)
