Aryan, 11 Jul 2012It's one of the worst phones i've ever had,really disappoin... moreIt's not the case of ray alone.all android phones behaves like this.before comenting try to know what an android phone really is.don't expect it to work for a whole week.it's just like a laptop.first learn how to manage your battery or else go for Nokia 1100.

It's one of the worst phones i've ever had,really disappointing,the battery drains like a new year countdown,charged it for 3 hours at night,checked in the morning it was just 58% with no applications running,i hardly use wi-fi or listen to songs on it,but still the battery drains like anything.A really bad phone from Sony,sheer waste of money.

M going to buy it 4m ebay india, w... moreDon't ever think of buying this phone as it's not worth the money and has many flaws.First of all about the camera it's ok when you take pictures outside during day time,but in the room it takes dark pictures which is very irritating,it doesn't have 'LED flash' just 'photo light'which hardly makes a difference when turned on.Secondly the battery life's really-really bad doesn't even lasts for a day even with moderate usage,i have it for 3 months but now planning to get rid of it,really wasted my money on this one,won't recommend.

This phone is very good believe me.battery of this phone on stand by is good specially for social software's. if u want 24/7 online on 3g this is best phone i ever got.
style of this phone is awesome yo gonna love it.slim and smart.

Is the screen size comfortable enough to text?
The flash is not automatic, does it affect the image quality?
And what about the battery life?

i am a gal studyng in std 9 nd so i need a smart nd cool phone which costs upto 20000. mah frnzz nd relatives suggsted me to hav ray as especially for vdo calng. so i wanna ask is it possible to hav a vdo cal wid skype. plz help me. i really want a phone

it is a great phone at moderate price....i m fully satisfied....8mp camera is really good and i m using for last 5 months in Bangladesh and it is a good user friendly molbile...

Pathetic battery life really,from 48% to 9% in 5 hours on standby,will be selling this phone off in a day or two, not worth buying in my opinion.

Nxt series have better ui, more compatible with ics (at least sony thinks so). Then again, Xperia P would be the best. :)) I am satisfied with my Ray though. Very satisfied.

I use it for 7 months and it was really great until we had high temperatures outside (I live in Greece). The screen is not showing all the time, after I use it for more time or if I'm outside where is hot so I don't recommend it if you live in a country where the temperature is higher then 35C. I'm still not sure if all the Xperia ray's have the same problem. Today I sent it to service and will have to wait for about 20 days.

Anonymous, 07 Jul 2012Ray was better on GB; after updating to ics, it's became sl... moreI have just written to Sony Support to express my expectation that they will upgrade Ray's os to Jelly Bean, since the phone was released in August 2011 and therefore within the 18months agreed upgradable period.
This also should resolve issues with ICS. Also asked for a firmware upgrade to further improve the camera processing jpegs which is bad.
Please, could all of you have the same initiative and write to them?!
The power is in our hands, if we all write to them they will listen!

Really cool phone,'say caller's name' and 'read messages' is an interesting application to download from play store,it reads the messages as soon as they flash on your cell,no need to see the phone audio quality is also great,same with 'Say Caller's Name'.
