You were unlucky that ur xperia had this problem!! And this doesn't mean all the product are of same quality!

i think xperia U is better in performance, sine it has dual core, and stronger gpu. although ray has better camera on 8 mega pixels.
The only problem with U, that gives me a reason not to buy it is that it has no expandable memory and it only has 4 gig memory. so that's all you got, 4 gig for apps and videos and pictures

Zia, 06 Jul 2012xperia or Galaxy Ace? which is better? If you are looking in a budget go for galaxy. It doesn't have drawbacks. Otherwise you can go for xperia

I have just written to Sony Support to express my expectation that they will upgrade Ray's os to Jelly Bean, since the phone was released in August 2011 and therefore within the 18months agreed upgradable period.
This also should resolve issues with ICS. Also asked for a firmware upgrade to further improve the camera processing jpegs which is bad.
Please, could all of you have the same initiative and write to them?!
The power is in our hands, if we all write to them they will listen!

This phone is really fast,yesterday i downloaded Carnivores Hunt HD game(45.16MB)and it just downloaded in seconds..also the effects of the game and the speed is just unbelievable,i can play it with ease.It's really a cool phone for gaming.

I have had the Sony ericsson Xperia for 18 months It has to have been the WORST mobile phone ever. The battery has had to be changed 4 times (sent off to get changed and away for a week at a time) and today it wont charge yet AGAIN! I have lost tel nos and texts. Never Ever again would I have a Sony Ericsson phone.
