The keypad seems to be too small and thus making you type crazy things if you're using T9.

I am using Sony Ericson X peria Ray for the past one m... moreset brightness to 15% when indoors, to 30% when outdoors...depending on the weather..
turn off bravia engine when not needed.
set the phone to 2G mode, if this option is available.
turn off wi-fi search or any connections like bluetooth
don't use live wallpapers & disable any animations.
use SMS more often than making a call...
adjust the volume just loud enough for you to hear it.or use headphones(still with volume adjustment/not bluetooth headset)
shorten the light/display time out to 10-15 seconds only.
....................................................... if none works buy an extra battery...or a portable charger...

Hi,
I am using Sony Ericson X peria Ray for the past one month. Normally i use for making / receiving phone calls and see my mail box. Occassionally I visit News website. Instrument is being charged every day about 2 hours but the battery is not withstanding more than 12 hours as a result i have to change the phone again in the evening. Even in power saving mode also it remain same. Can anybody suggests about to increase the battery time?

Charged it at night for about 3 hours,showed 100%battery,woke up in the morning the battery was 64%,there were no running applications.It's driving me nuts,the battery just drains even when i'm not using the phone,what the f---!!!!

My ray still can't update to ICS 4.0.4 or 4.0.3 according to my Sony PC companion.
why is that so?? I have 2.3.4 and build number of 4.0.2.A.0.62 and I am from the Philippines.

AnonD-42619, 26 Jun 2012plz suggest which phone is better, neo v or neo ray...or to... moreneo (8MP cam , not neo V)= has all features; slighly heavier & thicker than ray, but feels good to hold.
ray = slim; has sharp screen; better sunlight legibility; no camera key, with photo light but not as automatic flash.
LWW = average quality screen, & thick body; but with the best sound; has only 5MP cam.
Go for XP Neo 8MP cam...but slightly expensive, but not too much..check your store because there's another variant..Neo V = 5MP only & no Xmor sensor...I don't know if XP neo is still on stock...

Being a diehard fan of GSMArena, i have a suggestion.
Can you please add Latest OS version released by Manufacturer in the specification.
e.g. Right now Xperia Ray shows "Android OS, v2.3 (Gingerbread), planned upgrade to v4.0" under OS description.
Sony then Sony Ericsson has released 3 updates till now viz. 2.3.4, 4.0.3 and 4.0.4
This will really help the readers :)

Hii..frnds.. Trust me go for ray..solid power house...to download any youtube videos on any mobile go to www.yaaya.mobi & click on videos then type video name in search bar..u can able to download 3gp hi & reg, mp4& only audio also...this may be helpful frnd...
