Guy's when I tried to unlock the screen in my Ray by pressing the top switch its not working the home switch light is just blinks and cannot unlock..
Then I removed the battery and tried ....ok. .
But my sd card unmounted...card is not detected.....
Again switch off ok .....why ..
Any virus problem
Pls suggest the best antivirus that scan sd card to..

Iphone 4 died as I dropped it in water. Have been eyeing the Ray for a while so now is the time to get it. Price has dropped so it's good value for money.
Phone came with GB 2.3.4 which I must say I didn't like it too much, esp the lock screen and pattern lock cannot be combined. After some hesitation on upgrading to ICS (because of some -ve opinion on this) I upgraded with the PC companion a day after I got the phone. The process was easy, thought the PC companion could be a little more intuitive.
What a revelation ICS was. The phone performs perfectly well and ICS is overall a lot more slick. I love the integrated Voice to Speech function on most things.
I have always found my iphone4 a bit big and heavy, as I prefer the phone to fit nicely in a pocket (jeans especially). I don't carry a bag with me normally, so anything that doesn't fit in a pocket would be problematic. So I know the smaller screen is something I am OK with, though the keyboard is somewhat less accurate than the Iphone 4, i think both because of screen size and design. Otherwise, the screen is as sharp as retina display, battery life is good, similar to other smartphone - can last for one day with moderate use with some juice left at the end of the day.
The new font is nice, and somewhat closes the gap with apple on the graphics design/ looks department.
of course I do miss the silent button, and the camera on the lock screen of the iphone. Not a deal breaker, and the build of the phone is of high quality.
Of course music wise it is not as good as iTunes sync (not itunes as a software) so it is a bit more painful to put songs onto a 32 gb micro sd.
Yes contacts cannot be arranged in Last Name, which is a pain.
Overall, it's a great and good looking phone. Remember, a smaller screen IS its feature, not a flaw. it was designed to offer a smaller form factor; if one wants a big screen there are so many choices. Also it's worth upgrading to ICS.

this phone is same price in Turkey(420 usd-799tl) with galaxy w and htc one v but i think ray is better

Anyone knows if there is any problem could happen with SE Xperia Ray if it drops to the floor ... for the first time and only for one time. ? .and if so there is any hidden problems with the hardware like display, speakers, assembly microphone and sensors etc, how can I detect them, is there any hardware diagnostic tool available in android market..?
