Have it for two months. My first SE phone. It was looking good on the photos, so i was thinking "Why not?"
My only concern was the "small" screen. I got no problems with it. Surfing is fine and the screen is sharp. Really sharp.
It looks really good.
The camera is fine for videos and snapshots, for serious photos i have my DSLR.
The Ray is not a champion in performance, but it's decent. No restarting, no lagging, no problems.
It looks really good.
The Timescape UI is perfect. The default video and audio player is very good.
Autonomy of 1-1.5 days.
Did i say how beautiful it is?

guys xperia ray is truely a classy smartphone, slim yet powerful..that sets cofortably in ur hands i.e only 100g with no comprimise when it comes to features...firstly i luv my phone coz of its elegant looks..its superbright either in natural sunlight yet d colours r natural n crisp>thanks to mobile bravia engine with new sony exmor r camera..with an elegent and compaq look a vivid screen and 2 cameras and all the apps u need..i believe xperia ray is a smartphone u all will also fall in love with

had it for 2 months now,i use it to watch mp4 videos (the quality of the video is incredible),check my mail,surf the net,listen to music,take pictures(and videos),play games,youtube,Gmail,etc,etc..i love it,but it being so small i'm always afraid to drop it or sit on it !

AnonD-37681, 11 Jan 2012Is this better than Samsung Galaxy W?the picture that taken from xperia ray is better than galaxy w.. galaxy w will have a better and smoother internet browsing experience.. still depend which one do you prefer, in addition, ray has notification light, this feature is one of the features that i like.. i do not need to on the screen for incoming messages or notification.

I use an Xperia Ray and the average battery life is not more than a day. If u activate the power saving mode u may can extend it to 1.5 day.

slim, true 300 dpi screen (no any cheap "pentile"), no lags, 2 days battery life, great internet speed. Very clear sound when plugged in car AUX-in (jack-jack cable needed), very nice auto focus camera with focusing by tap on object. There are nothing better in this size exept Iphone.
