i have read that you cannot use different headphones with this phone (other than sony ericsson ones). is this only the case with headphones with mics or all non SE headphones?
can anyone confirm/deny?

is sony ericson phones are durable? like it can last for many years, 3years? 4yrs.? i am planning to buy xperia ray this month and it is my first time to use sony ericson.. there are some rumors that it is easily broken unlike nokia phones. is that true? please reply...

Very good phone. I wanted a compact and powerful phone and this is it. Would buy it again. Camera is decent too.

This is a top phone absolutely love it only one negative is the battery life but it's a smart phone so it's to be expected well done Sony!

javid, 02 Dec 2011Does auoto britness work on this phone?sure. take care to set the brightness level to a value in between 0 and 100. for the values 0 and 100 the sensor does not work i.e does not regulate brightness level

I'm an old time user, and I'm used to the numeric keypad with predictive text. Does this phone have that? I don't want to type in qwerty, especially not in portrait, considering the cramped width. Can someone please tell me if this phone supports the original keypad format of nos 1-9 with the letters?//////

I bought it few days back and to my horror it heat up like anything. after talking for 4-5 minutes over a call you can feel the heat on rear panel. don't know its very specific to my cell or others too have same problem

i bought it few days back and to my shock ,it heat up very frequently ..if you talk over 4-5 minutes , you can feel the heat in rear panel. Guys let me know if its problem with my cell only or others too have faced the such issue
