AnonD-30364, 14 Nov 2011For a choice between Xperia Ray, Xperia Neo and Xperia Neo ... moreI did use the Neo a bit,but few things like 'No AIr gap display" in the Ray,retina-like resolution,perfect sunlight legibility and the thin size of the Ray(no pocket buldge),also the solid construction with some aluminium made Ray the final choice for me.
Its remarkable that at the brightness of display set to 35-40%,it is bright outdoors :) Because the screen is something one has to live with everyday, and that takes priority for me on a phone.

For a choice between Xperia Ray, Xperia Neo and Xperia Neo V, which is the better one and why. I plan to buy any one of these 3 phone. Please suggest and reason. Thanks...

valibab, 14 Nov 2011what about battery backup Sony smartphones fails thereBattery easily lasts day n a half with a lot of surfing,downloading and installing apps using wifi,transferring over bluetooth,50% brightness(which is still high for the phone).I am sure it can easily last 2-3 days on minimum use.Last night the battery was 20% ,the power saver mode kicked in (a cool thing)and this morning the battery was still 15%.
Considering this is my first 'smart phone' and carrying around a charging lead was my nightmare as i am not used to that ,but phew,this phones battery life is not like other smart phones.

i plan to buy this phone and i want to know if the buttery is good . i so the most smartphones have more than.....

Talk time Up to 6 h 50 min (2G) / Up to 7 h (3G)
for example samsung mini galaxy S5570 is Stand-by Up to 570 h
Talk time Up to 9 h 30 min
and this samsung is half price than ray.
please help me to make a good purchase.

asel, 14 Nov 2011i cant decide what to buy. which is better? samsung galaxy ... moreray is better thn ace...ray's 1GHZ processor,pixel,camera and design is better thn galaxy ace.Last, the price of ray and galaxy ace is obvious and the price told u which it's better.If u insist samsung, then choose GALAXY WONDER

just download M X Video player .. and copy any format to your mobile without converting .. and you can play them ..

Iphone 4S is better than X-ray, BUT X-ray is definitely better than Iphone 4!!!! do the math...

I have been using this phone for the past one month. So far i have not come across any sort of issues with this phone. Definitely one of the best looking smart phones out there. I liked the video quality more than the still image quality and the 16x digital zoom works great. Live wallpapers run smoothly, but remember they drain a lot of battery. Battery back up is pretty decent with the charge lasting for more than a day with a normal day's use. Games run with no issues at all. The best phone i have used till now in the mid range. Some may feel that the screen size is a little small, but the resolution compensates for it. Supports only mp4 and 3gp formats of video which is quite a heartbreak for a phone with such a good hardware specification. The external speaker volume is not upto the expected levels, you may tend to miss a few of your calls in the worst case. I forgot to mention about the home key LED...which does a good job by reminding you of the notifications till you attend to them. In total this one is a pretty good phone with great performance in the mid range. I wont say its the best in the segment but you wont regret for buying this beautiful piece of technology.

This unit has very bright light which you can turn on yourself, but this phone has Exmor sensor which makes requirement of flash in low light virtually 0. No flash seemed like a big deal before i got the phone,but after taking great photos in a dimly lit concert now i realize why they skipped auto flash.

Still don't understand why there is no proper flash for camera, you have to turn on the video light...

But here I inform you some of the smartphones in that range- HTC Desire S. Ray is sleek and very sexy in design.! Battery life is also good!!
