Only photo light (but it's switched manually, not automatically as a flash): is it a problem when taking pictures in low light ?

the phone is very beautiful, but is only in appearance, and that is not very practical use, the battery lasts a very short, only the original headphones serve it or not believe me look very necessary when you need to use other and can not, and Finally the keys are small and the touch is good but not great

I have owned the Sony Ericsson Ray (Black) for around a month now and this fantastic little packet of power just keeps on giving. I replace my HTC Mozart7 with this little bundle of joy, so to begin with the shear size of the phone is a delight to hold in comparison to some of the titans available on today's market, its lightweight and slim design fits seamlessly into any pocket. The overall finish and shape gives it a quality and compact feel without brandishing the handset as cheap and flimsy. One of the outspoken features on this device has to be the fantastic 8 megapixel camera which shoots crystal clear high density photos whilst being able to shoot video in 720p thanks to the superb Bravia engine and images in low light show amazingly due to the Exmor R sensor which now seems customary on the latest Xperia range.
This phone also boasts a 3.3" LED backlit display running on the Sony Mobile Bravia Engine as seem in the Arc and Neo variants to show sharp and vibrant images. It packs in Android v2.3 Gingerbread software all running on a 1GHz processor making this customisable little beauty a serious competitor within the £15-£25 price bracket.
It ticks all the right basics you expect from today's smartphones, covering Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, Front facing camera, and a Micro-SD memory card slot that will support up to 32GB for all those music lovers out there. Whilst on the subject of music it is fantastic again to see Sony Ericsson dishing out some quality accessories with this phone also as it comes with top draw earphones worth £60, and even better they are anti-tangle for when you need you tunes in an instant.
But switching back to the core focus, this astonishing little 9.4mm piece is not without its disadvantages. The phone lacks the same HDMI port seen in the Arc and Neo models whilst the size of the screen can hinder the text compatibility for those with larger fingers. The loudspeaker possibly suffers also due to the size as does some menus when displayed on full screen. However these are small prices to pay for such an elegant and sleek piece of kit.
If you are looking for an alternative phone that is not plucked straight from the land of giants but still can get in the ring and hold its own with the big boys, then your money has to be on the Ray, its offers amazing value for money but still brandishes all the top quality features of the Arc, iPhone and Galaxy S2. But just picture them all squashed and compressed into an easier to carry package. Key reasons to pick up this handset has to be the small design with a fantastic LCD display, a super powerful 1500mAh battery, not to mention the shooting power of the 8MP camera along with the lovely Android interface at such a cheap price point, this phone is too hot to pass on if your after a slightly different but lovely compact powerfull piece.

I just bought this phone in black. So happy. This phone is going to and is, selling like hot cakes. Very good price, but same if not better than iphone 4 specs. I love the compactness (which is very important for me).
Would recommend this phone to everyone.
This is what a phone should be. Unless you're into
the big screens (I always end up loosing big ones
because they never fit in the pocket comfortably).

What a brilliant phone! Been using it for around a month now and I haven't had a single problem with it.
The Bravia Engine is fantastic and I've taken a lot of lovely photo's with the help of the Emor R Sensor, would highly recommend this phone to anybody who wants a high spec smartphone that will be reliable and compact! Facebook Inside Xperia also works seamlessly and is a simple way to keep in touch with friends online.
