Alexander and karthik thank u for advice me, but how can it be, bcz i spoke to my dealer today he told me it come with v2.3 (Gingerbread)and there no 3G option.but when u update in to 2.3.4 u can make 3G calls, what shall i do ?

Use GSMARENA's Compare feature instead of ask... morebetter to ask people who have a device than look at the specs because the specs often lie...ex. chech sgs1 battery life...specs are through the roof and it just lasts ALMOST a day...so yeah you read the specs, let us ask people who have the device...

the Xperia Ray has better specs than the iPhone 4 but falls short against the recently released 4s which has a better resoultion, bigger screen 1080p HD video not 720p and a 1GHz duel core = 2GHz even the Arc S which is better than the Ray can't compare but its very close probaly the best thing after plus it is much cheaper for sim-free and contract and i intend to get one soon.

Anonymous, 30 Oct 2011i am really stuck here...Xray or nokia 700...u can't compare Xperia ray with Nokia 700 ! definitely go with xperia ray which is powered with android and lots of awesome feature
1-bravia screen technology with high resolution ,
2-8MP camera(same in xperia arc which is the best camera phone 2011)
3-awesome battery life
i'm loving it ! :)

I don't know how it stacks up to the Nokia 701 in real life, but the Ray's screen has better resolution. Apart from that, all the stats look pretty similar.
From the Nokias and Sony Ericssons I've owned, I'd go with the Sony Ericsson because the build quality is vastly superior, and it's also cheaper in most markets (for example, Nokia 701 - €400; SE XRay - €360).
