hi guys. I bought this xperia ray.i really liked this phone alot..i just want to know when will it have update for android 2.3.4. Plz let me know. Will it support video calls in nimbuzz.after I update the new android 2.3.4.plz any one can tell me.thks a lot

Just owned a black Ray a couple of days ago. What a hell of a feeling in hands. SE simply rocks..!!

When open the gallery, try to zoom the picture and the photo, horrible !!! the jagged picture and photo, is this normal or something bugs ???, and the gallery still lack of information about the size and resolution.

Those of you in the UK,can get the 'Livesound' earphones from the Carphonewarehouse.
They are bundled with the 'Ray' as standared ;)

Dio, 15 Oct 2011which one is better in camera and in the processing speed, ... moreXperia ray is soo much better.....it has a 8.1 megapixel cam and like mini it films in HD!!!!...Only thing that i don't like is that xperia ray doesn't have a LED flash it has only a LED light wich u can turn on in settings!!!!

gulan, 16 Oct 2011thnx friend....are u sure that usb otg is avilable with 2.3... more- SE phones running gingerbread (2.3.x) having this file in their system file: "usbotg" - which I believe is something relative to usb-otg feature. Btw I think neo V (and live-with-walkman) already running on 2.3.4 out of the box.
- Honestly it's also not clear for me how we can use SE live dock for usb-otg, though this has been mentioned many times in sony ericsson discussion board in fb and gsm arena also said the same thing in xperia arc S review, ...and this is what a live dock looks like http://www.androidcentral.com/hands-sony-ericsson-live-dock
- beside usb-otg, imao other connectivities will be remain the same after updating, no tv out if a phone doesn't provide it from the start. Not sure, but looks like we'll need a specific cable for usb-otg like we've seen on nokia n8.

2... moreOnly Xperia neo V is currently providing all of those features you mentioned out of the box!
Note that:
1. usb-otg will be supported by SE phones running android 2.3.4, but it needs to be connected with SE live dock accessories.
2. hdmi port only available in xperia pro, arc/arc S and neo/neo V, but usually hdtv also provide usb port to connect with external device, which can be used to connect with the phones that lacking hdmi connection
3. Google android os currently doesn't have native support for video calling thru 3G cellular, hence it's only possible using internet/ wi-fi connection using 3rd party application. Phone that lacks front facing camera also possible to make internet video calling via main camera.

rose, 16 Oct 2011could anyone let me know if LED flash available in ray, bcz... moreray has only a photo light...not the flash...like, u can switch on the led light in settings.
