It's sound quality depends on how they were made. It's real different when you compare Japan's and China's.
The Japan's Ray usually has more quality, but it's SIM locked by Docomo.
xLOUD is a DSP chip which processes musics for more quality. Anyway if you're an audiophile (loves audio quality) and want an Android device, just choose Walkman Z from Sony.

Has anyone manage to update Xperia Ray to Android 2.3.4?
I heard some people already updated their ray to 2.3.4.
I'm still stuck with 2.3.3. Btw, I'm from ASEAN country.

jm, 12 Oct 2011neo is also compact but heavy and thick. but i'll prefer to... moreu r right man...are u sure that neo has led flash and not the photo light. it is better if it has got a led flash....There r televisions having no hdmi out,so in that case hdmi is not important for those people. Anyway both r gud.

One the first day after charging the device 100% i used it to take 20 pics, shot 2 videos, did a lot of downloading on android market and nearly 2 hours played mp3's on the phone. By end of the day 32% charge was still left on the phone which i consider to be good

Everything is ok....but wat about the battery life?
Will it atlest last for a day with 1 hour of talk time+camera usage with 100 pics with flash+20 mins of browsing?

xperia ray is one of the perfect phone for asian people because mostly of asian people doesnt have big palms compare to american :)

want to enhance xperia ray sound? download "Equalizer" by Smart Android Apps, LLC on android market.. that will boost the sound of the speaker, and it will work not just on the music player, but also it will boost the sound of your ringtone, alarm, etc. =)

I got the ray recently. Screen is awesome. Camera is good enough. The pics and videos i have shot till now have been amazing. The capacitive back and option buttons are not responsive, have to literally tap on them to make them work. Apart from that its a nice phone to use. Love all the other features of this phone

xperia Xray, 11 Oct 2011ray has got better display and compact size neo hav bigger ... moreneo is also compact but heavy and thick. but i'll prefer to get neo. y? because it has hdmi port which is very useful nowadays, its screen is average size not small not big, and compare to ray its flash is led not just photo light found in xperia ray.
