Is S8500 Wave so good to be after SGS2??!!!! It's obviously samsung fans attacking GSMarena and voting their brand as best and lowering voting results of other brands, So relax, voting result of Xperia ray would fall as soon as you and other samsung fans arrive here and decide to vote.

AnonD-18295, 02 Sep 2011is this phn support mpeg,avi,wmv file format?It only supports mp4,3gp,wmv,h.263 and h.264.u can download rockplayer which has all popular video format support.i suggest u better look for samsung galaxy s or sl if u want to watch a lot of movies n videos.or u can wait for the galaxy W I8150.good luck for ur future device.

The x-ray is a very good handset.well build handset,no metal finish though.good camera at par with x-neo.audio quality is excellent.call quality is good.screen is really crisp with good contrast n colour reproduction,but has poor viewing angles.cant comment on the sunlight legibility as i havent tested that as yet.no lag in the software part,comes with android 2.3.3.watching video on the 3.3 inch display is a pleasure but lack of codec support is a big let down.the bravia engine makes videos n photos come to life on the abit small screen,but again bravia engines consumes twice as much battery,so regular night charging is recomended.the hd video is not so good,has solid framerates but detailing n contrast lacks.videos look great on the mobile but when you transfer them to pc it is not that good.the phone has gaming potential but the 3.3inch is a no go.all said,the biggest problem that i felt is the hefty price tag of 360-400 euros which doesnt do justice to this great pocket friendly device

I'm using the white colour Ray. Sony camera is amazing, can take clear picture in very low light surrounding - even without a turning on the flash. You can turn on oroff the flash light as you wish. I downloaded the flash light, so I can use it anytime I want to.
The only issue is with the small fonts. i will download tthe software wjich can help to enlarge the fonts.
Very nice size for pocketing & handling.

I suppose criticising the lack of dual core is the only way bashers envious of SE's phones have of saying something negative.
