AnonD-71571, 14 Sep 2012will this be better or SE live? se live is better in that ( better speedier performance as lower performance, powerful led flash vs very poor photo light in ray, very loud stereo dual speakers and walkman stuff vs poor speaker in ray and sometimes very poor, live is wider so it is more comfortable on on screen keyboard!) ray ( better display, better camera ( lww cam is already very good in 5mp class, while ray failed to be impressive in 8mp but in low light exmor r help), more screen resolution!) fgor me buy lww it is cheaper and has the same processor with better performance ( as lower screen resolution hvga helps a lot and as all benchmarks proved

9how can i use bose ae2i for ray just headphones not mic)
hello guys i had i am fan of this mobile and bought couple of weeks back and i had a problem with headphones those are BOSE AE2i.... (i read about those are made for apple devices for only mic and remote but we can use the headphones ... for other mobiles... like samsung s3 they are working i tested but when i connect to ray it says no access and incompatibility ..can anyone help me ,how can i use ae2i for ray

Anonymous, 13 Sep 2012Guys can you ALL please write to Sony support asking for t... moreFor deleting bloatware - root is your friend (as in any android phone)! Also, titanium backup can do convert to system to utilize that 62 mb you fried up...
For better pictures and video without root - try lgcamera pro - there is free, beta version also...video can do 10Mbps and audio 320kbps, kristal clear. Pictures are 2,5 mb - so lower compression...
And with root only sky is your limit - drivers for camera are available etc...

payong, 12 Sep 2012im planning to buy xperia ray by the end of the month, is i... morei have the ray for 6 months now , and someone told me i should replace it ill punch him silly ! i LOVE it , its good enough for me , fast good looking and do what it suppose to do . i mostly use the phone the navigator (perfect) the music player and some games , i can't be happier , i dont need the newest phone in the market and the best technology , i just need my little ray :)

Guys can you ALL please write to Sony support asking for these features to improve our phone?! We ALL can make a difference! :
- Please allow Adobe Flash 12.87Mb, Adobe Reader 10.48Mb, Office Suite 22.70MB, Wise Pilot 16.58Mb to be moved to SD card!!!!!
This is a total amount of 62.63 Mb clogging my ROM and already have the "insufficient storage message", when I could have more storage if those apps where allowed to be moved to Sd card. This is unfair.
- Please do a jpeg processing upgrade, for all my 5mpx phones take more detailed, crisp pictures, with more resolution than this 8mpx one. Galaxy Nexus is an example of what a good 5mpx processing can do. Take a look at what apple does with an 8mpx sensor! (apparently the same sensor module as the one in Ray)

psn, 12 Sep 2012Thank you for helping me ...but I hv been known tat ray fac... morei updated it to ICS without prior factory reset, and havent done it after the update as well.. i believe that is the reason it became very very slow in processing.. plus i think the CPU is not enough to run the ICS since ICS is advanced n takes up more memory..while the phone only has 300MB( this still beats me why the heck sony put only this much!! :@) other than that. i searched the market n didnt find any phone i liked better in this price range.. since rest are all so thicker n uglier..

1) One V has a lot more internal storage 4GB vs 300MB.
2) Ray has 8MP camera while One V has 5MP.
3) Ray has photo light not LED flash which is really poor while taking pics in low light conditions.
4) Ray has a front camera for video calling while one V doesn't.
5) One V has a big screen as compared to Ray 3.7" vs 3.3"
6) One V has the latest bluetooth while Ray's is older 4.0 vs 2.1

im planning to buy xperia ray by the end of the month, is it still worth it? since there are new release of sony phone already, but comparing them with the new ones i think this is better, cheap and has almost the same specs with the new ones, can you suggest which phone to buy? :(
