i want to buy a phone,but am confused..am no... moreThere's nothing much to choose between mini pro and ray,here's the comparison:
1. Mini pro has a physical keyboard,Ray doesn't.
2. Ray has a very sharp screen 295 PPI vs 191 PPI.
3. Ray has comparatively a better battery than mini pro 1500 mAh vs 1200 mAh.
4. Ray has 8MP camera while mini pro has 5MP.

Phone is thin, very thin and compact - not small, just right size! For example htc sensation seems oversized in hand. Ray specs in real life are ok. 1Ghz, 512ram runs hd games with no problems - asphalt 7 burn, modern combat 3 for example runs excelent...UI is smooth, altho i use launcherpro then is even smother and better. Photos in light are excellent, in low light are somewhat noisier and worse - so there is no comparison with real HD camera, but for pics out from pocket is more than excellent. HD video is amazing! For even better results i use lgcamera and hdr camera pro...lg camera gives you better sound quality and more mbps (6-->10)...
For even better result overall there is root, custom roms, custom camera drivers etc...
But, i use stock 2.3.4 v.62 because it is stabile, battery lasts and lasts, it is fast, smooth,...but, i will consider in future to root, custom camera mod etc.

Specs vs Specs on paper is very different from actually using the devices. I got this for my wife, and got me a Galaxy S2. Both have the same camera rating with the S2 having lots more horsepower, but the pictures with this Phone is phenomenal. Lighted, dark, moving, the responsiveness is unbeatable. The S2 can't compare to this shooting. The OS lags with the basic apps and homepages, but the camera is unbeatable. She had a C905 before, and I'm at the conclusion that SE is making cameras with phone functions while others are making phones with camera.

Hi friends
I bought Xperia ray last week. I think Some prblm in my phone
1. No auto flash working if using camera?
2. Battery backup are more than on 3g is 5-6 hours (using internet)
3. It can be upgradeable to ics 4.0 android. I am try to upgrade my phone but it said no update found your century. I am in India.
4.phone is heated up when charging battery and playing hd video & using browser

i use a xperia ray. and it has some chinese prgm. that i bought this phone seller said to that when i update this version then it be changed. but i upgrade version that these are not to be deleted. how i remove those prgm? pls help me.
