after i updated my new xperia x10 from 2.1 eclair to 2.3 gingerbread, the only problem is it took more than 8 hours of charging the battery while it is OFF. I usually charge it when the phone is ON. I thought they already fix it

My x10 can't work with Android 2.3.3 Camera is not working.I had to put original version again....

i updated the 2.3 & since then I am not able to access mediascape & market ..... on selecting gallery the handset has to be switched off as i continously get a pop up 'force close' please help....

Amazing phone but 1 major reason that let me down is an awful battery. With a 2G network, I get about 4-5hrs of battery if use internet continuously. Sometimes even lesser. If battery is not something you looking at, then it is definitely a great buy.

Or go to XDA Forum and search for solutions there. Just use Google to find the site, because Google is your friend. hehehe

andi, 16 Aug 2011I've got the same problem after a week I have updated my X1... morethanks for the reply andi... so i'll wait 2-3 days and observe... hope my phone will be ok too.
and in addition, when im charging my phone for an hour the color red led disappears and my phone can't be open anymore. so i put out the battery and put it in and when i open it will reboot again and hangs again.

I experience 2x a day rebooting my X10 by itself for 2-3 days, but after that until now it runs smoothly and no more rebooting at all. If your X10 consistently rebooting for a week or so, then most likely the motherboard of your X10 is defective. BTW, did you experience this "rebooting" also when your X10 is running Enclair 2.1 or only after updating to Gingebread 2.3.3? "IF" you only experience "rebooting" after updating to Gingerbread 2.3.3, I think you need to re-install the Gingerbread.
