Pls not to worry about whether it has 65k colors, 262k or 16M. The more important is will it provide you everything as clear as you always see in your daily life: the blue sky, the green green grass of home, the yellow submarine, the deep blue sea, the pink panther, the grey train robbery, the red carpet, deep purple, the night in white satin, the man in black, the brown identity or when you're in orange of fire. We could still see every colors.
And besides, this has pretty good screen's resolutions - WVGA (W= Woow!!)

now sony already launching their xperia x10 at my country today. i already saw and try that phone by myself. it has nice screen, no laggy at their OS. i tried the camera its has nice capture too. has bluetooth and wifi. wow really nice phone and i will buy it

screen colour 65k or 16m really doesnt border me. in fact i had forgotten totally that x10 has only 65k until u all mentioned about it. i am so amazed by the screen size n all other features that x10 has to offer that i shd say that screen color really is one of the last concern that i am worrying of...

Honestly, I don't really care how many colours the phone have. 65K, 256K, 16M, 100M. I can't count all those colours even with calculator. As long as the screen looks bright, sharp, vivid and crystal clear, it's okey for me.
It will dissapointing me, if I have 16M colour screen phone, as they claimed, but the screen looks really2 bad.

When you get it in your hand, you will forget t... morelook 65 colors can crystal clear but 256 colors are better so what about 16 mil colour please stop that. all is about your UI can't get sooner android 2.x but moto cliq with motoblur UI have 256 color but with android 2.1 updated cliq have 16 m color many only moto devour with android 1.6 have 65 color x10 is not fully complet to impress today many said by the time it'll be release it will get android 2 you are disappointed sorry even your 1ghz can't impress nexus 1 have 1ghz and android 2.1 please notice on android 2.1 not ony the 16 m color are added but much more x10 is good for the design and Media UI good work SE must make fast with the update OS good luck X10 fans

Your eyes will be amazed by its screen.
Same happened to me when i wanted to buy X1 a year ago. It only got 65K colour. But then, I was amazed by its screen colour. So sharp and crystal clear.

The x10's screen also has 16M colours but it is the 1.6 Android software that only supports up to 65k. Once the update has been implemented, the screen will have 16M colours.

I love this phone. It totally suit my needs except for no FM radio. Thats what a phone should be. It should fit ones need not whose is faster, sharper or smaller. If a phone is fast enough, sharp enough, or small enough for your needs than its a good phone. Stop having the I've got a bigger and better syndrome please. Its rediculous. There is no perfect phone. The perfect phone is one that suits you need again. We always one something better I agree but think about.
