Why? Simply because our tech isnt advance enough to make phone with virtual screen that can be expanded from a small bar (or w-e, just to give you an idea)...when these days come....you'll see a phone that is 'pocketable' and that is touchscreen. You have to remember that these touchscreens came for only a few years ago...so the technology isn't well developed yet, give it some time and prolly it'll get better....

Guys, please note that my comments are OBJECTIVE mostly and not subjective. So please dont say that im a hater or whatever....im just pointing out the facts. Ive been in this forum/opinion/msg board/w-e for so long that i just quit posting due to these stupid wasting time brand wars. Since everyone has their own taste of design, of brand name, of w-e...its hard to say which brand is better than the other. But if we look the the sales....Nokia has almost the double of Samsungs sales. So lets face it, Nokia has the most users in the world.

Yes, Nokia had it with the first Symbian device on Nokia Communicator 9210. And your statement is wrong saying that SE made symbian...its an open source OS thus no one gets to claim it. (they can however said to have contributed in it) In fact, Nokia is one of the first who invested in the Symbian project. For this i shall point out this website for you, son. Please dont distort the reality and facts to support your arguments.

SE is my inspiration, they announce everything. I don't have to imagine what the next thing will be brought by the phone makers, lets SE think about it.

disregarding your hate (if any) to any brand out there, which comes first in your mind that made a "turning point" in mobile phone industry? I hate to admit it but for me, it's iphone, i'm not an iphone fan but im a tech lover, and indeed this entertainment phone set the bar on touchscreen and design, a few years ago, small phone is a great phone, remember the Nokia 8xxx something era? nowadays we do have a 3-4" screen and still we declared it as pocketable...anyway, just a thought...

First 12MP phone: if your refering to SE's Idou then I think your wrong,
the Samsung M8910 Pixon12 was released earlier than SE's Idou, BUT SE announced it first so in paperworks,
SE beats samsung.
First 1GHz Android phone: again, if your refering to whoever annouced it first, then SE
was the first one who annouced the snapdragon on android BUT it is still unreleased, whilst other
phone like N1, actual consumers already experienced the snapdragon in action not some reviewer.
the first transparent screen phone is correct, and the 8MP WM phone aswell.
correct me if I'm wrong on the above stuff that i mentioned, and IMO, announcing something is nothing. :)

Omnia hd had frame rate issues
Even the new samsung w880 has been reported with frame rate issues
SE phones never suffered frame rate issues
They may not be as fast as samsung in turning out phones but they don't turn out phones suffering from problems like samsung
If se wants then they can sue samsung for using their phone name w880
Samsung is a copycat they always name their phones either on SE phones or nokia phones
Most of the new samsung phones are now coming with software bugs but SE very rarely got software bugs
30 fps rec. Is not a good rec. Because in this frame rate video looks more artificial. Even the animation movie avatar was recorded with 24fps so that it may look more natural

SE made records, they made the first 12MP smartphone, they made the first 1GHZ Android phone, they made the first transparent screen phone, they announced the first 8MP Windows Mobile phone.
