i think it's not a fair thing to compare between a coming soon phone with a year ago phone.
you need at least compare a 2010 phone with also a 2010 phone.
for example, vivaz and beam. or vivaz with wave.

you are correct that x10 will come with 65k display and android 1.6. But it's upgradable to android 2, and the upgrade will increase the display color to 16M.
In your case, it depends on what you really need. A 12MP camera phone or fast processing phone with capability to make everything easier (messaging, updating social network status, commenting social network status, arranging media).
I do believe that 8MP is more than enough for a phone (I'm using c905 and the quality of the taken pictures are amazingly fantastic)

I am ready to buy a new cell phone, and I in the market phase of the two are very good mobile phone is x10 and satio.
x10 and satio, which is rather well? ? In fact, both are good, x10 processor speed is very fast, but it has the new system is android os 1.6! Only is its color screen. satio processor is also very fast, but it has 12MP. But the x10 thin, but satio thick body. Which should I choose between the two mobile phone? I need a high-pixel mobile phone at the same time I also hope that a thin body. My friend said that this is impossible, because the body has a high pixel mobile phone is very thick. So, I have two models in this decision, I really do not know how to choose. So, I need help, tell me whichever one is most worth buying?????

The frames were duplicated and it used cheap methods to achieve 24fps.. While SE's HD video recording phone has full 24fps recording as well as AUTO FOCUS in video recording.. Much ahead than Samsung. Get a life!!

SE had problems with the release date, but if they announced first the 8MP camera(in Korea Samsung had 10Mp camera phone), this is the record. By the way there is no perfect company in the world yet. :D By the way Moto was quite good.

the major ting is the first mobile phone was made by Motorola!!! the most important thing!!! ha ha ha. and cameras and displays ..color.... etc were all existing technology , later the manufactures integrated them in to mobiles. So the credit goes to Motorola than any others.................

i'm not a samsung fanboy.
my dad wanted to buy a mobile phone a 3 years ago, and i told him to buy w850i and now he happy with it.
when i was going to buy a mobile phone, i wanted to buy a w910 and someone told me that it could only handle up to 2gb memory card, and that's it. i bought samsung SGH-F330 and now i'm regret it.
i'm not a kind of richy rich or something. so i need to save my money to buy another phone.
samsung or SE didn't give me money to promote their company.
and we should not fighting about technology. we should be friend.
but we need to face the fact about something.
everybody have their taste about design. and we should not say 'this company design is good, and the others are bad' stuff. and if my words before are arrogant or somthing, i want to say sorry about it. my english are really really extremely sucks.

Hey vish, take a look around buddy. Nexus one, droid, desire, X10... Somehow, android is already the dominant high end phone os.
I understand what you're saying, but SE made a good choice to choose android. It's the future.

SE always lacks something...
Satio = stereo speakers,equalizers
Aino = 3.5 mm jack
X10 = good OS (android is too immature to run in a high end device like this IMO..) and gsm arena says that there are no equalizers..
all these phones are supposed to be good multimedia devices isnt it??? but they always lack atleast 1 important feature.. :-( :-( This is where SE fails..just my openion..

All this samsung info might be interesting in a samsung forum, but not here.
All you Samsung fans should try spamming this forum when (if) samsung make a phone X10 buyers would consider as an option. Right now, there is nothing from samsung that comes even remotely close to the X10 (my opinion)
For some reason the X10 daily interest is consistently above 90%, and it isn't even released yet. I couldn't find anything from Samsung like that, or even HTC for that matter.
Why is EVERYONE here in the X10 forum?
Personally, I come to visit to catch any news about release dates.
I'm getting one soon :)

If SE was so great you wouldn't need to promote and defend it so much. Every brand has good and bad points and people will always bash brands. Can't we talk about present topics?
SE has an amazing history on innovation, that is well known and admired by everyone. Present day is very different. There are so many players now competing for high end phones thats its a real minefield out there now.

omg you guys are so right! SE always announces 1st but unfortunately they can't release it 1st...the other companies follow them & releases it even before SE does...
you guys are lame! that's like saying: thomas alva edison said i'll invent something that glows in the dark when electricity is passed through a filament & name it bulb! & then some random guy invents it before him...if the random guy is capable of doing what he said he would than how is thomas special? lol if you're dumb even to yell it out 1st & then not being able to deliver then go to hell! don't brag about announcing 1st & all...we don't care who "announces" it 1st...we want to buy the phone & want it in our hands...not look at specs & dream about having it one day & the day never comes!

you need to read gsmarena review about both phone. it's surprisingly positive.

SE phones are awesome, come with awesome design an... moremy friend, i'm from indonesia, too. but i think there is something you need to know.
the samsung innov8 is a monster, back when it was released before. every phone review said it. and it still become the noticeable between the 8mpix camera phone. if you think the memory and the DLNA is not a technology, i can't guess what you called a technology.
