After years of being a SE fan, I have finally given up on SE. Not only are SE sales plummeting due to unpopular models, their reliabity is now at a critically low failure level. Nokia and Samsung as always are producing the best of the best. Samsung is able to sell at reasonable prices as it makes its own CPU, screens etc. Nokia is famous for its lower /mid range phones. So, I will not be desperatly trying to promote SE anymore as I have done in the past. Good luck SE fan boys.

Nokia user, 26 Feb 2010Seriously, what is wrong with the display colours?? 65k onl... moreHey guys, we should take turns answering the 65k question. I'll take care of this one:

                      Nokia user,

The X10 hardware is perfectly capable of 16M colours. The reason SE have said 65k, is that is all Android 1.6 will support. An update to Android 2.x will be available for the X10 either by launch or soon after. This will unleash the full 16M capability of the X10, as well as support for 32Gb Micro SD card amongst other things.

Thanks for all of the great info posted here! I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on an X10 but I live in the US and currently have AT&T as my carrier. I'm wondering if the X10i will work with 3G on my AT&T service or if I will have to wait for the X10a?? Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks in advance.

                                Relax bro.
                                Android needs less RAM.
All you need is the internal capacity,

For the example. HTC legend use the same RAM with x10.

What about the Desire or N1? Both of them get 576 and 512 MB.
Let me ask you one question? Do you know how much the internal capacity??
Both of them never mentioned it.
If you used Mini Info in market application, the N1 just give you less then 200 M.
it make your unit slow down.

                                What about x10??
                                X10 mention 1GB Right?

                                      Dear Arvin,

From the way your speaking you really seem that you don't know anything about the monster X10. Please are you kidding me? Comparing your nokia n97 which has only 128 ram to this giant. Let me tell you something my friend, do you know that the X10 in its beta version ( unfinished version) did beat the nexus one which has 512 ram! Do you know that the X10 is capable of showing better graphics even than the Nexus one. Yes, this is true my friend. Of course you will not understand what I'm saying if you have not seen the videos and the reports on the Monster called X10.

This is a device of the future, don't think for a moment that it will be slow or that you can compare it to a nokia or even nexus one!

                                      Cheers!

                                        HI all,
384MB RAM seems very less. Though the phone seems to be wonderful with amazing features but with less RAM I dont think this phone will be able to handle many applications. As full version of Office and PDF reader is not bundled, this will create problem. The moment we will install these two applications it will take most of the memory.
I have Nokia N97 and it disappointed me like hell because of the RAM. Though there are many applications available and when i installed them, the phone hangs during booting time.
I'm wondering same might happen with SE XPERIA X10 as the RAM is less. 384 seems funny. When all the big features are bundled why Sony Ericsson is cutting cost with the RAM??
Though I havn't used HTC Google nexus but it has 512MB RAM and 512MB ROM. this seems unbelievable.

Any comments anyone?? Please reply and comment on RAM/ROM of the phones......
                                        thanks.... arvin
