If Sony Ericsson announced a phone with higher specs than X10, it would killed the phone just before the time it hit the market.
For the price range of the field where X10 will compete, SE realizes that it would be hard to reach an impressive sales figure for X10. That's why they put the Mini and Mini Pro standing alongside the Maxi.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Get ready for what? That's not Sony Ericsson, it's ST-Ericsson. Totally different. That powerhouse U8500 (sounds like a samsunk!) is a project for 3d GPU optimizing based on ARM 9 1.2 GHz and not exclusively developed for Sony Ericsson.

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2010why would they give the x10 mini a qwerty and not the x10 The X10 looks very sleek 'n sexy, thanks to the fact that there's no qwerty keyboard. IMO, qwerty keyboard phones look way too bulky.

the X10 will be aunched in March 2010 and that is a fact from the vicepresedent when asked yesterday in barcelona, on the engadget website about the x10, i read it.
so wait just for one month and you will get it, the upgrade to andriod 2.1 is the thing that will be late in the year, but the phone will be launched in March and i am going to get it.

Availability, according to CEO of SE at the MWC, will be out next month (March 2010), then SE still within their timeframe for the release of X10 i.e. Q1 of 2010. Me too can't wait the release we need to wait a little bit more time as first quarter is not finish yet. As for the upgrade of OS, I understand it will be available before end of this year, so for me it's not that long taking into account that X10 is availabe next month and I don' think it will be available worldwide. It could be first in Europe then after a couple of months in Africa-Middle East, then in Asia. So waiting for the update is not that long. For ME, my wait for XPERIA X10 is worth since I do really love it's specs, UI and design is so stylish. If there's anything sophisticated SE is in store, it will only be available after XPERIA X10 and I suspect around Oct this year. It could be an upgrade of Satio (symbian) and an upgrade of XPERIA X10 (Android).
