To make those matters possible, SE will announce a new sub division of Sony Ericsson, named Sony Ericstone (SEe). You're right, SEe will release many high-end stones, android stones, 15 mp camera stones etc that really big, etc and expected to be announced in 2011 SWC (Stone World Congress).

Phoenix, 10 Feb 2010Thank you for the compliment, that was nice! :DHi, I am back! Soon I will have all the infos from SE, there are only 2 days! Robyn will be announced, and there are another Android smartphone too, this probably will be very HIGH-END, and I can tell you why. The X10 is a high end-phone, and it will be available on Japan. Today I saw my Japanese source, and I saw in Japan will be a new Android smartphon(For Ntt Docomo), and SE AB communications will make them, like the X10(so we are NOT talking about Japanese SE phones, like the So906i!) And I don't believe Ntt Docomo will get the Robyn, because Japan wants something REAL for they carrier. :)

But i dont think that we can carry a laptop, PSP and camera every where we go! and because of that, i think some one like me needs to have a device like a good smart phone to fill his/her lacks from the digital world.

and this is one of the most important reasons for creating the smart phones like X10.

Anonymous, 10 Feb 2010you guys looking for phone or just being SE fan for what? S... moreFor one, i were looking for a good phone and finally i found my favorite! and i'm not just a blind SE fan! even i don't like so many of SE's phones!!
but i'm so interested in X10 and i like to speak with some one who has the same favorite, so we can share our information with eachother ( and beside, little personal conversation doesn't scathe anyone! )

so...since i'm so interested in X10, the latency is not so important for me. i selected this one because i like it, not because it's the best phone ever made in the world!!! and i know it's not the best in all specs and quality but i think it's one of the bests:)

so...we are here for being updated in news, sharing informations and helping other people about this phone as far as we can and of course...having some good time with eachother:)

but...there is always some people who wants to ruin our times here with just bashing SE and even some times they insult us rudely! and this is what make us to stay here and defend ourselves!

and be sure about it...SE will never pay us for this:)

You're so..dunno, original if I may say so. I think you're one of a milion who really sees the things so..naturally. I also intended to upgrade to the HD2 (currently using the "crappy" W890i) but hence I really like the overal build quality of the Sony devices, I decided to wait for the X10 (sony's "high-end" and much anticipated "smarty") - so this would be my first "smart" phone.
And yes, I also use a phone as a regular PHONE only, but now that phones are getting "wiser" and "smarter", you just can't resist all the sweets what those "smart" phones have to offer these days.

Aaaaa, one more thing before I finish let me ask you, are you willing to upgrade to the X10 by the time the device is ready? Or do you think your W902 will "satisfy" your all-round-phone-needs? I ask because I am pretty happy with my "crappy" w890i, it sure has those tipical Sony Ericsson bugs, like reseting while listening to music (phone is not buggy, it just decides to rest a few seconds, taking a nap) and freezing, but you know, I can make phone calls with it when needed! But still, as I said before, I am very tempted to get the X10. I just hope Sony won't postpone this over and over again.

All in all, respect for your comments, your words. You're smart and everyone can see that. Just keep up the good work!

Btw, sorry for my bad english. English isn't my main language.

feeble attempt at defending phones who don't pretend to be anything other than...
...A PHONE

i usually use my phone primarily as...guess what. A PHONE! you know.. like making calls and sending sms/mms...

so a housemate bought 2 blackberries (don't bother asking.. i have no idea..one for each hand i suppose...) and brags about how he can stay connected and read his emails... and says how he NEEDS it because of his job working for a big bank and all.. (said bank probably one of the banks responsible for annoying, ridiculous, stupendous stuff like "economic crisis") funny thing is.. at the coffee shop... he says he need to rush back to the office to read some mail... so i says "why not use ur phone?"... turns out his phone does enable him to stay "connected" (which is how he knew he has an email)... but it can't allow him to read an attachment with a dot"-pps extension... so as he gets up from his seat i pull out my very light very thin HP DM3 laptop along with my usb mobile internet from my bag... he eyes me disdainfully and asks "can i borrow ur laptop.." and i says "nope".

and an officemate continously brags about his iphone.. like most iphone users do... and while we were eating (at the office we have this thing going... the guys with the most & least number of late punch-ins will have to treat us by the end of the month.. guy with most late pays 75%.. guy with least number of late pays 25% of the overall cost of our dinner)

where was i? ah.. yea.. so while we were eating.... the iphone guy whips out his holy device and snaps pictures... (got to admit.. i didn't think that was even possible... taking pictures with that device i mean..) afterwards i nicely asked if he can transfer those pictures to my "crappy" w902 so i can have copies of it.. he said he can't because there's no bluetooth... he tried to defend his holy device from my blank and silent and incredulous are you sh!tt!ng me expression by saying he can transfer it if i'm using iphone too..(well forgive me for not being technologicaly trendy...) then i innocently asked him..."how much did you spend to buy that 'all-you-ever-need-and-more-high-end' phone again?"

he probably was thinking about revenge.. so on the MRT he sits beside me and intentionally (ok i'm probably imagining it but i swear he did it intentionally...) browsed through his many applications.. mainly games... and i have to admit there's quite a LOT!... you see.. he did this while i was playing jewel quest on my "crappy" w902... and he showed me this racing game where in he had to tilt his iphone to steer the car... so.. being fed up with this.. i took out my psp and played FF Dissidia... and as we were both playing on our own favorite devices... i hit the pause button.. pretended i was still playing.. sneakily dialed his number... and called his phone... it was an experiment of mine actually..and i therefore conclude that you can't call someone and play at the same time... i have a bluetooth headset by the way for my "crappy" w902 so accepting calls while mashing real hardware buttons on my psp is not a problem... i should probably further conclude from my experiment that calling your friend on his iphone while he's playing and sitting right next to you is a very good way to make him stomp moodily away from you... or get your teeth knocked down your throat...

anyhow.

i've used W902 since it came out.. was surprised and disappointed by it's build quality... battery cover is loose... looks easily breakable... noticed that the secondary camera on the front has some dust under the cover.. noticed how dust can easily accumulate on the gap around the screen... noticed that in the dark... when the keypad lights up... there seems to be a hole on the d-pad because there's a very bright spot where the backlight escapes giving me the impression some china worker at some factory in..er... china.. was in a hurry while working on one particular phone and it just so happened that that phone was the one i bought...

so i tried to "upgrade" by buying an HTC touch 2.. very nice build quality... so nice i can't help but keep wanting to hold it and feel the texture of the material it's made of... so nice i'd sneak up at night and hold it and call it "my preciousssss...."

2 weeks into using it... i gave it to my girlfriend and switched back to my "crappy" w902....

did i say i use my phone primarily as a phone? well i use it too, secondarily as my music player... and when a phone lags and takes it's own incredibly sweet time to recover when ur playing ur favorite tracks and somebody sends an sms to you... i'm telling you.. it's not worth the stress of having to stare at it darkly while ur music stops and while you wait for the device to respond and allow you to unlock it (unlocking in most cases takes an indefinite amount of sweeps before it finally decides to respond) and show you an sms which says "hi, watchu doin?"...

by the way.. if i do "upgrade" again... i'm planning the elm.. not the x10 =P

ur probably wondering what's the point in sharing all these stories...

you guys looking for phone or just being SE fan for what? SE had not have phone since year 2008. only phone introduced was Satio and late. Now Xperia X10 defiantly late and many others having phone out or coming before X10 come out.

IS SE pay you guys money to advertise on this page or being fan? you guys go get a life.
