I may regret asking this question cause of how unknowlegeable i am on Android.
.Whats put me off Android is poor multimedia features,,music/cam/video..My question it seems the x10 solves this but is it due too htc etc making poor fones OR Android is the limiting factor??So have the poor no equaliser poor video caused by Androids limits or its Android can cope with good frame rate and equalisers it the manufactuer/proccessor/ram that the limiting factor ..
Obviously going to read more up on Android or buy a second hand unit to try out but if its capabilities are stumped by its O/S then there is no point carrying on if you know what i mean..Thanks..

1.6 or 2.0 I still LOVE this phone! Damn! That stylish sleek design and such flashy interface is awesome!! I read a LOT of reviews saying the User Experience of this phone is by far the best! So I'm so gonna totally wait for this baby! That nexus is cr*p! Its interface is boring and I'm sure you guys will regret buying it instead of waiting for this baby. Who knows, this could be released this month or next month.... But as for me, this is totally worth it! Especially with that design!

X10 will be launch in 1.6. I also have got the same answer from SE developers, whether you like or not.
If you prefer 2.1, then you know what will you do.
You can get it from Nexus One.

So once upgraded to the 2.0 or 2.1 the software will support 16 millions colours and then the screen will show 16 million colours.

chenmartin, 06 Feb 2010Like i said before, I prefer 1.6 with minor or no issues so... moreHave Nexus One HTC OS 2.1 for about a month now and my phone never crashed or had any problem. Google just few days ago too upgrade the software directly to my phone which took only about few minutes.
I think SE was just cut surprise when Os 2.1 become available so fast before Xperia X10 come out or say as always SE is behind in introducing their phone as they have been with many of their smart phone.
You guys have to admit SE are not fast enough to introduce their products in market and go on to start using other many good brand phone out there.

It need more time to be release, becuase synchronize from 1.6 to 2.0 o 2.1 isn'r easy.

I didn't say that i hate 2.0 or 2.1.
But 2.1 is still premature.
The only choice is 2.0.
But i m afraid it will make the system crush, especially with time/ media scape.
Beside,, SE has closed the lack of 1,6 with NeXus UI.

Aspen has 16 M color of touchscreen as a matter of fact but WinMo 6.5.3 will restrict the screen down to 65 k effective.
Same thing happen with android 1.5 and 1.6. Unfortunatelly SE officially stated that X10 has 65 k screen and Aspen has 16 M color. Again, Mobilemasster is correct.

The hardware is capable of doing it . Just check the developers link I gave in the previous post . They have clearly stated that it will support . Cheers !!!
