Great update. I'm using wolfbreak's rom and it's just as fast as possibly could be on the phone. Everything works as a charm.

I received the update on Friday evening. The phone is smooth. Camera is still the same, big changes in the gallery and in the music player (good or not depends on what you like) with now an equalizer. The battery doesn't seem to decrease faster than before (too early to know if slower). Better Timescape integration now than with 2.1 and it is even fast to open. I don't use Facebook so I cannot say anything about Facebook-in-xperia. Wifi works well.
Only one complain : I cannot get anymore the panorama beta app...
I was surprised to see I kept all the information that was on my sdcard (music, pictures). Before the update I saved all but it was useless. Only the contacts disappeared but as I synchronized them with Gmail, it was easy to have them back.

I updated my x10 to android 2.3(ginger bread) on 29th of july, i was surprised when i connect my phone to computer and pc companion said 2.3 is available. It was so early but i am very thankful to SE because SE every time makes batter and batter. 2.3.3 is out of world man it is very smooth and responsive than before, i could'nt judge anything about battery save. somebody tell me 2.3 is really less battery consuming.

is 2.3 version already available in the philippines? and i wanna know what are the new apps or changes when you upgrade it from 2.1 aside from it will be faster coz i'm still confused whether i will upgrade it due to the backup and restore app which is available in 2.1 and not in 2.3 thanks guys.

Update can be done in 2 ways
1. Official unrooted SE 2.3
2. Unofficial rooted 2.3
if you go for the first one then simply you can do it by using SE PC companion software which is available in SE official website. just plug the usb cable after opening the pc companion, Then pc companion will itself detect the phone and wil search for new 2.3. If it says ''you phone is up to date" then it means no 2.3 doesnt hit your country yet. All you have to do is just wait and check each day for the update.
And if you go for the second one then you have to the following procedure:
-root your fone using flashtool
-download a custom 2.3 room from xda
-follow the procedure from xda

I don't see i need to upgrade to official firmware. I am happy with the custom rom i had. :D n just release the v2.3 rom with fully working + bravia engine.
