Hello there, I was just watching a video on youtube and the guy said that the screen was Amoled, does anyone knows if this is true? The specs here says its TFT.

the phone sucks!
no 16m (or even 256k) colors... no multitouch... no HD or divx support... no radio...no stereo speakers... no metal parts...no xenon flash...no android 2.0... NO THANK YOU!

i really got bored of people saying that a a 65k color screen is not good.. resolution is the number one thing that makes a screen look good, and this phone has the best ever!! companies usually use 65k screens for reducing the energy consumption..

Yes..it can SUPPORT it, but it doesn't HAVE it. Android 1.6 will only support 65K colors.
Don't sxpect to see the X10 with Android 2.0 any time soon. Google wants as little to do with SE as possible.

You can not say this phone is bad by its color depth :))))
65k color might be pitiful on paper. But you have to see it by actual :)))
I have bought a new phone with 16 millions color AMOLED screen. I don't want to promote the phone that's why I'll never tell you what phone I had bought. :)))
But when I compared with my old Xperia X1, its 65k color screen looks superior to my new omnia HD. I really have made bad decision to buy the phone :))))

This phone is quite snazy but what is with all these new phones coming out being so MASSIVE? I mean take the LG Chocolate [the new one] Why Would you want to put that long thing in your pocket it would snap? Or Yeah the sony ericsson satio is an AMAZING phone but again it is like a brick?

come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... morecolor is not everything, there are many factors that make a phone screen to be good like screen resolution, sharp and bright control, energy supply, graphic chip perfomance ect..
even 65k colors screen can be better than 16m colors screen even if you havent read the spec and you dont know anything about a phone spec you will not know which 16m colors phone or 65k colors phone is, for example x1 screen is better than N95 screen or HD2 screen is better than iphone screen, you must see this :

i hope you will understand that if you are a stuborn guy, fortunely SE will upgrade the OS to android 2.0 then you will have 16M colors and multitouch.

X10 prototype get better perfomance even before december's in.In february 2010 iam sure x10 will be the fastest and smoothest android phone from SE then wait for 2nd android phone from SE :)

the killer of all phones.... moreMaybe people has diff view with you. For me, i dont like AMOLED coz AMOLED is not good for outdoor(indoor is great) and AMOLED screen has limited life coz AMOLED is an organic light. Time by time the screen quality will be decresed slowly...
With TFT, i have better screen life, Tft is good enough for indoor and outdoor...

But i think 2010 is 1 GHz era and with 1GHz you can run appli very smootly and you can upgrade the OS version continuely without problem..528MHz will be outdate and forgoten fastly..
i cant compare X10 with HD2 coz both phones have diff OS and diff segment...
SE has a lot of entertaiment, camera and audio + android OS but Winmo device like HD2 is all about office.
both UIs are great...it is depend on your taste and not ours

Witch of there 3 phones: X10, HTC hero or HTC HD2) compares the most to the I-phone?
The thing is that after a month, my new phone starts to be boring. Need one that keeps entertaining me:)
