i want to gift this cell to my sister on he... moreOverall, x10 is worth it (for its price). Among the 4-inch-screen android phones, x10 is the cheapest. Has an 8gb memory card inside its box, nice cam, and very good gaming performance. Battery life is very good too, 10hrs of light usage only consumed 13% of my battery.
CONS (in my opinion)
- Camera Flash is a flash light, not xenon.
- Loudspeaker is not that good. (But it's excellent with earphones)
- 65k colors only, compared to its competitors which have 16m colors. (not that obvious, so don't depend on this too much)
- 384 RAM capacity only, With all tasks killed, I always get an average of 160mb User Available.
Overall
Gaming Performance - 8/10 (would become 10 after the 2.3 update, I presume)
**I'd have to say that with the 2.3 OS in it, this would the worthiest phone to buy.

Its seems to be the busiest Xperia out there. Right from its upgrade from 1.6 to 2.1, and now the hugely anticipated 2.3. Even the Arc doesn't have such a strong support group. It has indeed changed the way people perceived SE, and at the same time made SE sit up and give the people what they ask for.

i want to gift this cell to my sister on her upcoming birthday...all i just want to knw its overall performance..is its a worth buy or not...bcz i m recently using SAMSUNG WAVE2 nd IPHONE 4g....nd undoubtly my WAVE2 is far btr frm all others nd even frm my IPHONE 4g as well....
pls suggest me is it good to go wid this cell or nt...

to start with, i really have no idea about the issues ppl have mentioned about the x10, battery, signal, getting stuck etc issues.
My x10i works perfectly fine and i love it. b4 u buy a phone see what ur requirements are. I admit this is not the most powerful phone out there, but to it's current market price, and with it's features it can easily compete with most phones out there, even the iphone4. It's quite fast, awesome camera, unlimited customization, hacking takes u to another level. Music quality and gaming experience is not superior to apple but its more than good for the average user.
X10 is getting the 2.3 update, and it will be 4-5 times faster, rumors say camera quality will be increased with the update. Also UI will be much polished and will be similar to the ARC.
Like i said there are better once, BUT this is one of it's kind. If ur planning to buy one, i would recommend the x10i since we're getting the 2.3 update. Long live x10i.
