Today was leaked the new phone from Entertainment Unlimited series. It’s Sony Ericsson Kurara, also know as Satio™ “sister”. Sony Ericsson Kurara is based on Symbian S60 platform. According to the source, the phone features 3.5″ AMOLED touchscreen and 8.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and HD-recording. Have you noticed two latters “HD”? Yet there is no any info about announcement date of Sony Ericsson Kurara. Launch date will be in H1 2010.

haha, only a utter ignorant can think that "16,536 colors" on official site can be literary true.
no phone in history ever had that kind of spec.
first there were 256 colors. the next standard was 4096 colors. then they made a 65 536 standard. and then 262000.
first one that reached 16 M standard were sharp and panasonic in the early 2005.
so, what they meant there is 16 MILLION 536 thousand colors. it's a spelling mistake.
the trick is that android 1.6 doesn't support those, but the hardware does have them.

Is a shame, even if they made some mistakes, there is NO perfect company! I really like the phone, has many functions, the Mediascape, and Timescape functions are useful functions, VERY useful.

Will this phone works in Canada Rogers/Fido, Bell or Telus network???
And what will be the video recording specs?? VGA 30Fps??

Looks great but will want to know two things before buying:
1. What are SE's official plans with regards to an upgrade of the X10 to Android version 2.x? So far they have not said...
2. How good is the UI beyond the bits we have seen, i.e. Timescape, Mediascape etc.... (sure GSMA will tell us)

The X series are equal with Nokia's N series phones, I am happy SE has launched the X series, this is the third device, and it is impressive in many ways. In 2006, 2007 we only dreamed to have SE phones equal series with the Nokia's N series, and look, now we have the equal series from them. :) I can speak the same about the Entertainment Unlimited series too, but I think the X series are the perfect phones to compete Nokia's N series, the X series from SE it's like the N series from Nokia in other words.

I hope they'll improve the responsiveness because on the video it doesn't look as fast as the processor could work.
