If SE reducing varians of their models as it was mentioned to be their new ceo's strategy, quit from budget phones ($25s) market, releasing more expensive models with lots of excellent specifications and also reducing fewer similar models, and cutting more expenses (and easier to make changes and decisions) by reducing the number of managers as all of these plans are to achieve break-even in 2010, what would be SE look like, will they becoming bigger or just static or even loosing more market share than they achieved at the recent time?
Can they achieve their goal?

It is for an almost long time that I have been waiting for releasing a full touch screen phone from se but my desire hasnt fulfilled yet.I will be waiting till the end of this year,If se doesnt release a full touch phone with proper price tag then i will change my brand to nokia or maybe samsung or lg.Ofcourse se is the best in quality its phones doesnt have enough variety such as other companies.

i am also waiting to see what will be announved in novenber 2009 and especially in feb 2010 at barcelona .
as we should sgree that sony ericsson should do its best to attract the crowed that it lost last year.
i know that there are so many people that they love sony ericsson mobiles but are reserved by the last years performance.,, so sony ericsson should try to get the lost loyal crowed back .
still i am asking , , any one knows what shall we see in the next 6 months from sony ericsson ?

Mobilemaster, 24 Oct 2009I am happy you find this forum, here we can talk even easie... moreas we agree now that feb 2010 will be the turning point of se , , and as you say that ohter companies will have surprizes too , , but the winner will be the company who has the most attractive surprize a\nd package ..
if se prepare us a big surprize that we could be happy for , other companies could have prepared even bigger surprize that it will shift the audiences attraction from se ,,, i hope that we will not be in that situation in feb 2010
as i can see that 2010 feb will be a very competitive and hard time for se ,, they should shift the profit margin to mpositive and on the other hand to put on the market very good and mass market usage phones..
it will be a mamooth task for the new director to achieve
