ali, 09 Jun 2011hello there. i wanted 2 know if i buy x10 today will i need... moreif u buy new X10i it is already updated to 2.1 eclar. no need for further up-gradation till the release of gingerbread 2.3.3 this year 3Q. But there is minor update which SE released few days before but it is not gingerbread, u can upgrade it if u wish.

Can any one tell me How can i listen Local Radio(India) Fm channels without starting Internet ? or is it not possible ?

the phones gr8 no doubt abt tht. jus wanted to noe if theres gonna be an android 2.2 or 2.3 upgrade for this phone since m currently using android 2.1.

It could be 2 weeks ago in Europe, this week could be Asia and then Middle East & Africa, and so on because the software update has different kits each region/country.

Hey friends don't you agree with me..? That if x10 had a 'LED-Backlit LCD' and few more features like 'Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine' and HDMI Port then no other phone in the market could have ever beat it...

i got my xperia last day of may were ast the first day i saw some defect of xperia.. its clog / turn on -turn off.. i gor the replacement but unfortunetely the nextday xperia has no service..how can i used it w/o services. any ideas?

ok to answer the question 'is the sonyericsson x10 getting a 2.2 and 2.3 update, and what about the mini and mini pro?' the x10 will get an 2.3 strait from 2.1 skipping 2.2(froyo) in within the next three months(hopefully next month) the x10 mini the x10 mini pro(x8 to) will not get anything other than the last update it got. so thats sorry mini and mini pro but you have to root and do whatever you have to and thats reality of the situation. sorry :( read this blogs.sonyericsson.com/products/2011/03/25/update-on-xperia™-x10/
