Please read care fully before posting any dump query. this is a full functional 3g mobile. 3g not meant by video calling which most of low end users thinks.
3G is for high data transfer which only supports video calling since VC is not possible through gprs or edge.
and all andriod except gingerbread which is newly released can't support video calling due to software limitation.

jr, 25 Apr 2011mmnn..its hard for me to decide what cp shud i buy..nokia n... moreIMO, the SE X10 mainly because of android & its 4" screen. Also it's the right time now to buy one as prices have gone way down with the coming of Arc. For those who can't afford the Arc, this would be a nice alternative since it will soon be updated to 2.3.3 this Q3. The camera is equipped with a led flash which is only suitable for taking nighttime pictures only when the subject is near. The camera of this phone is better suited for taking pictures during daytime.

Amazing phone, pathetic hardware. Google and you will find tons of users who upgraded from 1.6 OS to 2.1 and eversince the phone heats up, crashes abt 100 times in a day and what not. SE service centers do not change the fault motherboard. Sucks. Never a SE again.

Anonymous, 25 Apr 2011planning to buy this..but as i read your opinions..the batt... moreMy rooted, JITed & with task manager installed X10 last for 2-3 days under normal use(gps, bluetooth, sms, calls, music & occasional wifi & games) on a single charge. Please note that battery life depends on how you set up your phone, apps installed & your usage. Hope that helps. Cheers!;)

My X10 audio failed today. I could not hear anything even the ring tones. The audio, especially songs, can only be listen to using an ear phone.
Could somebody help me and explain what is the problem???

planning to buy this..but as i read your opinions..the battery seems weak..that's my number 1 factor in terms of cp..but overall..im interested..
can anyone tell me how long is the battery life of this phone?tnx

Last night my Xperia X10 muted, there's no sound on the speaker even the media volume set to full... But when I, plugging my headset it soundbut only at the headset. Has anybody had same problem with me? How to solved it.

works without big lacks, and 2.3 update is coming soon, i am on it 5 to 6 hours every day, i know sounds sick but i work with it. no flash support with 2.1 (makes me angry, at least flash 3.1) must wait for 2.3 update for flash 10

Your X10 can't make video calling not because the lack of front camera, but... because it's an android phone! ALL android phones unable to make video call over 3G. There are many android phone out there provide front camera... thanks to gingerbread which supports multiple cameras. Btw Galaxy S (eclair) also supports multi cameras by Samsung's customisation. So how to make an android phone able to make video calling... - sorry, video chat - if they're not supporting 3G networks for video call? By using a third party application (guess what app?) which are required by both ends to make it happens. And that third party app also can be installed to this X10 and voila! you can make video call - sorry, video chat - using the back camera. To remind you if your friend is using a Nokia or SE W995 that capable to make 3G video call, asked them to install the same 3rd party app.

the phone is great after the update its EPIC ! the camera is great dont listen to them... the battery stand about 4 or 5 days and ist normal =]
