My phone restarts when i connect with 3g network and keeps on restarting untill i take the bettery out for some time. works fine on WiFI.
problem started after the last update, with arabic support and pinch zoom etc.
did the factory reset, repaired the software with PC companion...but of no use
Can any one kindly help please

i am really disappointed that the x10 will not be getting android 2.2 or 2.3, when htc and lg are both getting future updates for their old phones. i dont think i will ever buy a se phone again because of this and would rather have htc, samsung or lg!!!

does this phone come with normal gps? meaning does it talk to you?

I found the problem that while someone calling in for a while I heard the whatever the caller talks or noise there. Meaning the every noise at the caller place have become my phone's ring tone. Anyone experience this problem? What can I figure it out?

hey guys i have a bad news 4 all the X10 users including me.
i've been using X10 4 few months now and i really enjoy using it, and its an awesome phone design wise and the features wise. but unfortunately SE will not be providing any further updates of ANDROID versions for 2010 SE models and its official. i think its so unfair SE to do this to their loyal customers.
i mean its been only 1 year since SE released Xperia X10 and SE has decided not to provide upgrades to Xperia X10 to Android versions beyond 2.1.
hope SE would listen to their CUSTOMERS.

sjneepa, 28 Feb 2011I bought sony abt two weeks ago.i m unable to log in in gma... moreYou are using an Android phone..so whenever you start the phone and try to log into android market it will ask you for your gmail username and password which you need to enter to access the phone..if u dont have a gmail account create one..after that your phone will automatically download settings for GPRS or EDGE or 3G depending upon your network...take it from your service provider if you want..after that you will be able to access all apps..wifi is preferred as it is faster

I bought sony abt two weeks ago.i m unable to log in in gmail acc.or download videos,you tube or anything.just displaying connection error!but I can browse other things like fb,google etc.wt is d problem......is it applicable only on wi fi network????

hi, this is my personal experience as i am a old customar of sony it is a one of the best company in indian mobile market ant now it is a new version of xperia so i m sure you will enjoye it very much

And... moreI have anti-virus (AVG antivirus pro) installed & it did not slow down my phone in fact one of its features listed, aside from the usual scanning of apps, files, settings & media, it will also eliminate tasks that slows down my phone so it actually speeds up my phone. I would suggest you install an anti-virus coz if your phone gets infected by a virus, it would likely do more damage than just slow down your phone. Anyway, you can always uninstall it if you think that it slows down your phone.

I heard installing antivirus will make my phone slower. And I dont trust those free antivirus on the android market. I just felt my phone got slower thats why I asked about phone viruses.
