AnonD-1273, 26 Feb 2011Hi guys, i have installed Advanced task killer & Mini T... moreDepends on your task killer if that option of killing running apps when screen turns off is available, mine doesn't have that option but instead have the option of killing running apps at a configured time interval & a widget to end running apps not on the excluded/ignore list. It can cause some of the necessary apps & services (eg. email, messaging, market...etc) not to function if you don't place those apps in the excluded list but its not that serious, you can make the most of it if you set it up properly.

Hi guys, i have installed Advanced task killer & Mini Task manager from market i always keep open it clean the background ruuning applications & Data uses.
just wanted to check with you guys if runing this application can couse any problem. also need to know how to set these application to clean up the background app when by screen goes off.... need help guys also if somebody from india can answer when we are getting this 2.2 or 2.3 update....thanks in advance....

Advanced Task Manager by infolife llc, Advanced Task Manager by arron la, Advanced Task Killer by rechild...etc), available at android market, I use the one by arron la, if properly configured, it will end/kill all unnecessary apps that are running in the background while excluding the ones that are necessary, freeing precious RAM, prolong battery life & improves performance.

My scores...Without JIT (Linpack: 7.227, Quadrant: 509)
With JIT (Linpack: 40.099, Quadrant: 754), JIT + setCPU at max frequency & performance (Quadrant: 832).

AnonD-418, 25 Feb 2011There's still no known virus that will do that in Android. ... moreAh...I get it now, I installed titanium backup pro then I clicked ask root perms button & then click ok on the phone to grant root permission. The grayed out buttons were then enabled & I was able to JIT my phone. Took about 5 mins to reboot. I'll check my linpack & quadrant scores later.:-) By the way, I replaced the givmeroot.tar of flashtool 0.2.6 with the updated one for rooting latest firmware at XDA since I have the latest MT firmware but it can't root my firmware so I reverted back to the default givmeroot.tar of flashtool 0.2.6 & it worked.

pee, 25 Feb 2011how did u get multitouch?Download the pc companion. Check for the latest software. Your phone will always tell u that u have the latest software update. Once u connect your phone with pc companion, check for latest update.

Available options are flash, root, ask root perms, customize & donate.
