For those without android market or want to upgrade to v2.2.10, you can check out this site(http://rapidsharemegauploadhotfile.com/pda-and-mobile/16877-android-market-v2-2-10-android.html) and follow the instructions there. By the way, the MT update already comes with android market v2.2.11 installed.

If you have some apps that you want to be excluded from the auto-end service, you'll need to include it in the auto-end excluded list. You can also place a widget on your homescreen to end apps with a quick press of the widget.

Im happy with X10 now got mult touch, mine has in everything, picture you pinch zoom,browser games aswell. jst go to xda developer to find out more otherwise great job sonyericsson. its truely now larger than Life.

Hi there, just wanna ask about my xperia x10, currently i'm using the old firmware (1.6). I want to update my x10 to the latest firmware (2.1), so the application installed (such as papago gps, games & etc) will be erase or not after the update process complete? tq

As you know, SE have rolled
out updates for the X10 and X8 which
add pinch/ zoom and speed improvements to
things like MediaScape and you have probably
discovered that this is occurring in a typically
slow flash!
If, like me you have grown tired of waiting for
the update to reach your region but don’t want
to use other full flashing techniques, here is a
method which may help :
» Root your phone if it is not already by Z4 root version 1.3,
Then Google search Root Explorer n download via X10.
Then,
» Locate the file /system/build.prop in root Explorer, n press to Open this file in Text Editor.Now,
you will need to edit this file on the phone.
» Locate the following two lines:
ro. product. name = X 10 _ XXXX - XXXX
ro. semc. version . cust = XXXX- XXXX
» The XXXX- XXXX represents your current regional kit number
my UK Generic was 1235-7379
» Replace the kit number in these two lines with the Global Generic number - 1232-9897
you may also use other regions with the available
update e.g. Nordic – 1234-8465
» Once the build. prop file is correctly edited , reboot the phone and connect to PC Companion or SE update service
» You should be prompted with the available update and it will not lose any user data.
This worked for my UK handset and the update
is currently downloading , hopefully it will work
for you too.

why everytime I open task killer n there are atleast 10-12 application always open n eating up space n internet usage, I m using app killerbut still lots of application are open plz help guys I am ready to even buy an application if it can help reduce battery n net usage plz help,.....

Xperia X10 is the ultimate for Durability, Stability & Extreme outlook.i was Nokia fan for last 7 years but after N82 & 85, nokia is nothing but Hang,Very poor quality of Manufacturing & ancient Sun Micro OS SYM.i leave nokia HS & I know so many of Nokia fans did.X10 has everything.never hanged never,very good quality & Impressive touch,nice camera & ofcourse 1500 mAH is a blessings.Go head SE..with xperia product line.

funkyto, 21 Feb 2011Well in fact the problems with the battery have stopped me ... moredesire hd is nice phone,faster then x10,easy manageable,just screen only ordinary lcd 4.3'' and 1200mAh battery also wvga resolution on this huge size is not enough.i think for wvga is 4'' max.but the battery,on my x10 run for two days,on desire hd may 20hours and less.i had to charge it every evening,sometimes when i used it more i connected charger after lunch,so if x10had froyo would be a class better phone,its battery life is much better and somehow stronger built body then hd

funkyto, 20 Feb 2011Well there isn't hd video that's the main problem, for whic... morethnx.i wanted to flash it but hd video is important to me.i have some dogs and film them at least once per week so must wait until more stable rom will come out.just hope that xda experts will port 2.3 from arc or neo to x10.for me flash is not big deal but apps to sd yes.i owned desire hd for two weeks and apps to sd was realy great thing just poor battery on hd was not for real life.was charging twise p/day
