H, 29 Dec 2010Anyone in the philippined got the new firmware update?By the way, I used the latest PC Companion downloaded from the UK website when updating to 2.0.2.A.0.24. I connect my phone to laptop, when PC companion detects my phone, it says there's a new update available, then I proceed with the update. Hope that helps.

Have just purchased 2 of the X10's and ... moreTry accessing your phonebook (you probably need to open a google account before you can open phonebook), press menu button (left key from the 3 buttons located below the screen), select import contacts then select sim card. Your sim card contacts should then be copied to your phonebook.

H, 29 Dec 2010Anyone in the philippined got the new firmware update?Bro, I must suggest you use another PC or laptop to update your X10 using PC Companion to the latest firmware as your PC/laptop could be corrupted or having conflict with other installed apps. This happened to me before when updating to the previous 2.1 update. Turn off your PC firewall & windows automatic update when updating your X10. Yes, I'm also from the Philippines and I have updated mine to the latest firmware about a week ago without problem.

Had this phone for 3 months. Beautiful looking phone. But has no radio or music equalizer. Also volume is too low. No mulitouch or 16m colour screen.
Android still has freezing and lag problems and bluetooth transfer problems.
In my opinion, there are better phones on the market. Not Recommendated.

can anyone help me. Have just purchased 2 of the X10's and both of them do not read the contacts on the sim card. all other functions work. Frustrating not being able to access my contacts. and yes i have saved contacts to sim from previous phone. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

1. Sound quality is realy great, although the loud speaker is quite week, but still if you're using good earphones sound is realy enjoying to listen.
2. Battery life is week, it's not a secret why there was 2 batteries in a box. I need to charge it after using 2 or 3 days. (use advanced task killer for android OS, to improve your battery life).
3. Camera picture quality is perfect. HD filming, flash, autofocus, all you need is there. Although, there is not so good quality in a dark. Flashlight is not strong enough.
4. Touchscreen is good. After one month of using my X10, i do everything so fast and i enjoy controling and sliding it. For sure galaxy S with sAMOLED is better, but still its easy to control and quick lerning. No complaints.
5.GPRS 3G Wireless. All is there. Web browsing - big QWERTY keybord allows to surf it quick and easy.
6. 65k colours. Nevermind of that, human eye cant see the change - 65k or 16m. So there is no difference. At all. Screen colours ar really bright and deep. I recommend allways using anti glare screen protector. Then the finger slides much better.
Have to say, best phone i've ever used since my first smartphone. Previous phones - Iphone 3GS, Samsung Omnia HD, Nokia N97.

hey if i buy an at&t x10 and unlock it put in another sim card. could i download apps outside the android market or would it still be blocked ? please reply or add on twitter

As an x10 owner since last 9 months. let me tell you there are times when i hate my x10 and there are times when i love my x10.
The voice quality is good if your talking on the phone, but not very loud if ur in a noisy place, music quality is good, but again not very loud, but its enough.
Battery life sucks real bad, but once u get the needed softwares and switch off wifi, bluetooth, mobile internet, its acceptable, but I do charge my phone everyday. with heavy use within 9hours. light use will stay for 24 hours.
Touch sensitivity is good, but honestly iphone4 touch for me is a lot better, but I still won't get an iphone4 since I am not a fan of their os. But honest answer for me iphone4 touch sensitivity is smoother and a lot better.
Yes, the color is 65k, but the picture quality is very perfect, it actually feels like a 16m color and not like a 65k at all.
Oh, and let me tell you it takes sony forever to update to new version of softwares, I think my next phone is probably a nexus s pure android which will get an update as soon as its available rather than waiting for 8 months.
All in all if your a sony fan the x10 is the best sony ericsson available at the moment.

I will agree Sony will give good Quality mobile for sure.
But when it comes to service we are not getting good service, If they serviced also the cost will equalient to new mobile price. So i feed up with Sony .
No one know there is any Bug in the phone Service is very Bad and not acceptable.

why cant i download the full version of an app ... moredownload market enabler from the market if your operator does not support the paid applications, then fake the provider ,let it verizon or T-MOBILE , now you can see the paid applications or the fullversion applications on the android market .
also you can download applanet if you want to download the full version applications on the market ;)

how do i transfer stuffs from phone me to sd card? i downloaded games from the market and it saved on internal mem. can i transfer it and how to change setting that evrytime i download games it will be automatically save in sd card.
any applications where i can edit microsoft office fle like word excel? aside frm OLIVE?
