Hi All,
I recently updated my phone to the 2.1 verson however my experience in not so god as I was much more happier with the 1.6 version.
I have'nt experience any major changes in the performance, only the homescreens have been added.
Infact the performance will much better on the 1.6
Also there is no differnce in the cemera & the HD as well.
THe Youtube is very slow & keeps on buffering while on the 1.6 verversion it was pretty fast without any buffering.
My suggestions to people who want to update is PLEASE DO NOT UPDATE.

can anyone answer me for that ?is wi fi related to mms & internet settings or not ,cos the internet sett.is not working with me & i treid the wi fi instead to try to enter the net ,also doesnot work so i need to know urgent are they realted to eachother or not ????

Hi all, hope you are having a good day. I have a query, will the sony ericsson xperia x10 be updated to android 2.2 froyo? and even beyond? If this is the case i will buy this phone, was considering n900 but the weight and chunkiness was a put off. All comments valued.

On locked screen, go to service menu by press... moreafter i follow the way u teach me about the home back back......... after i adjust the volume to the max.. once i exit the service menu, it is back to the square one... during the service menu do i need to save the settle or...? sori to triuble u again...

I have a few questions to ask.
I'm thinking about buying this phone, but the information I received were inconsistent.
GSMArena listed 3G bands are 900/1700/2100 and 800/850/1900/2100(NAM)
SE website listed 900/1900/2100 and 800/850/1900/2100
SE website even listed the dimension as 119x69x13 and camera is 5mp
All of the info listed were different from GSMArena. I called SE, but the rep couldn't even answer the questions.
1. What are the real available 3G bands?
2. If I get the phone from ATT and it's locked to ATT. If I unlocked it and then upgrade to ver 2.1, would it relocked back to ATT?
3. Do I have to wait until the 2.1 specially made for ATT or could I just upgrade from the stock 2.1?
4. Will x10 get upgrade pass 2.1?

go to http://blogs.sonyericsson.com/products/ and check whether 2.1 update for ur kit is out or not, i'm in Srilanka and this is how i updated my x10i and if ur kit is not yet listed there be patient till it gets released.
