Hi roar, the msgs problem is increasing, now its not sending even 2 back to back msgs... pl help as i use msg service pl roar, and post as soon as se talk forum gives a fix for it ....... till then, any temperory fix??? Pl advice :.????

LIMO, 30 Nov 2010thanks for answering me ,yes i do that even i went to tec.s... moredear roar ,do u think that my phone there is something wrong with it ?? or the sim card bec.i cant enter to the net ,by the way when i try to make download sett.it gives me h then 3g in the notification bar for less than a second then it dissapper so thats mean that my nothing wrong with it ?or the sim card there is something wrong with it ??also i have a question is the wi fi is realted to the net work setting or not?cos i treid to use the wi fi also it doesnt work to enter the net through it,thanks for advise .

Nothing is under t... morethanks for answering me ,yes i do that even i went to tec.suppport as i mentioned before,& he do it manually ,but after that when i treid again to enter the net ,nothing happen even the tech.was surpised bec.the mobile he find nothing wrong in it except that problem,& i updated it again through usb bec.i thought may be there is something wrong with the first update but also the same problem exists ,even i was going to change the sim card with another operator may be there is a problem in my sim card vodafone ,can u please suggest what it may be ???thanks for helping so much.

If you cannot download the setting you should do it manually, according to what I have written earlier or else it will not work on your ISP's network...

Roar..., 29 Nov 2010Have you tried entering your Access Point Name (APN) manual... moreyes i have done that even i went to technical support of vodafone & he do it with his hand ,nothing new even he was surprised bec.he dont know whats wrong??,even i do the update again to ensure that nothing missing ,but my qustion is under the menu you will find settings ,then sony er,then wirless ,etc ,under sony er.when i open it i found download internet sett,mms ,when i click on it i found it gives me the name of operator,then it i click on my opertor vodafone ,then it gives me cant download setting ,retry?so can anyone finds & tells me whats under sony er.sett.to know what is the problemmmmm please .

Hi hime,
i think u may hv already got it done.
as u know SE phones hv this secret menu to test ur device and to view some manufacture specific information. its called the service menu which u can gain access by the sequence of the following key presses @ the unlock screen. remember @ unlock screen !!!
read my 27-11-2010 post but i will repeat the steps again.
for android 1.6
at the unlock screen press menu back back menu back menu menu back
and for the 2.1 eclair
at the unlock screen press home back back home back home home back
