Miletone XT720 also have and HDMI port and Xenon Flash,which is lot advantage for you.
But as you said Droid2 Global seems to be a beast too,

I clearly explains about displays and colors, there is NO WAY that a 65K color Display will show better pictures than a 16M display, brighter but picture is shown with less details which is bad.

Yes X10 display is little brighter, but been bright is not good if the colors are now shown correctly, 16M is the best when it comes to video,I watched videos on both phones X10 Milestone XT720, X10 is little brighter but the color separation for videos are totally out,16M means more color separations are clear video,
Best displays are from Samsung, since ALEX.T don't like Samsungs the best next alternative is the Milestone XT720

i had it for about 2months and now i'm selling it. overal it isn't a realy bad phone BUT sometimes you can't answer a call because the touchscreen fails or when you're typing a message the touchscreen gets his own life. conclusion the phone is good but the touchscreen isn't.

Download Vignette and it will make ur camera support the flash...SE dev team does not even know how to do this...

On locked screen, go to service menu by pressing Home, Back, Back, Home, Back, Home, Home, Back. Once there, select Service Test, then select Earphone, then press Volume Up button on the right side of the phone to increase the volume...

my x10's home are too m... moreWat i did was, at the home screen u can delete the appl since it can also be seen in the menu button also rite..
- to delete just touch & hold the appl & once u feel the vibration just drag d appl to the dustbin appear at the bottom..
- to add folder at home screen just touch& hold at the home screen until box add to homescreen appear, click folder then choose new folder..
- to drag appl, just press the appl n drag into the file u have created
- to rename the folder, click the folder & on the top press & hold the word 'folder' then u can rename the folder..
Hopefully these info will helping u.. ;-)
