dIVY, 13 Nov 2010Just downloaded easy root...installed it and Run, Rebooted ... moreroot phone first.download root explorer,open it[follow xda link]click on ''system'' then in right corner click on r/o then will show up r/w then press and hold for a sec on ''default.prop''and choose something like ''text or edit''overwrite codes,u will find 3 of them,the last one is in very bottom,use nordic number from xda!the save and restart phone after connect phone to pc and open pc companion and click support zone and software update.after update i recommend to do hard reset and enjoy .i had also branded phone now i have nordic eclair

But that is the normal charge and how they compute it, officially. If you happens to bribe them, then you will pay less or even free tax for you MW600. Just buy it locally, if you can...

Roar..., 13 Nov 2010If my information is accurate, it is 12% of the value of th... moreThanks for your reply but you probably meant the VAT, I searched the net about PH customs experience and the results are varied with some (lucky ones) just paying P35, some paying 50% of item value and some more than the value of the item itself...tsk..tsk...corruption is the bane of this otherwise "nice-to-live-in" country. Well, I just hope I wont get a nasty surprise with this customs issue.:-\

My battery last about three days on very light usage, around one and a half days for moderate usage, about 20 hours or less on heavy usage, like display is on all the time or playing games. Because of the display size, it eats a lot of power. So it's dependent on how much you turns on your display. But with 2.1, you can tweak it as well, to very dim to very, very bright or auto...

A quick review on the phone:
--The first thing that catches the eyes and makes everyone jealous is the nice and sleek design :P
--And the huge shiny scratch resistant screen! TFT capacitive touch screen at 4 inches - 854×480 pixels. Shows 65k color, there is no word about getting an update to 16m color yet. the screen looks great even with 65k color, but 16m color is something else in my opinoin.
--Then the unique and beautiful UI! The Mediascape and Timescape, they've got even better after the update, absolutely smooth and lovely!
--And the excellent 8MP camera that is fool featured: autofocus, LED flash (but it's still a photo light) touch focus, image stabilization, geo-tagging, face and smile detection (it can recognize up to 5 face to save their picture between previous taken pictures from those people or under their contacts), among HD video recording with continuously auto focus! isn't it GREAT?! :)
--3.5mm audio jack & micro USB port and 8GB memory card included, officially supports 16GB but 32GB memory has been successfully tested on it!
--384mb of RAM and the 1 GHz Snapdragon processor.
--Android 2.1 so you can use lots of applications from android market
--And the build quality is excellent and it really feels awesome and absolutly comfortable in hand.
AND, of course no phone is perfect and this phone has some lacks too:
--No front camera, but video calling is possible with Fring by using the main camera (it’s not cool at all IMO)
--No multi touch (we know that the device is capable of that but it's still not clear that why SE doesnt put it in the phone!)
--No build in radio (on the other hand it has MW600 with radio and brilliant audio quality and you can enjoy listening to music or radio, 10 meters away from your X10)
--No DivX and XviD video playback (you can download some applications from market to solve this problem)
--Average loudness for loudspeaker (but the audio quality is excellent)
--Earpiece seems to be a little weak
Some people are just so stupid to understand that nothing is perfect in this world and everyone has his own taste. i for one, dont care wich company built this thing, i dont care if it's a SE or Sammy or Moto! i care about the result, and when i look at this thing, i know that i Iove it...so if someone has a problem with that, He can jump off a bridge!
