I already have gmail account, however, after signing in (using PC), I went to Android Market and going to Top Free, it shows all apps and when I select a certain apps, I can not see "Download" option.

A totally new experience after upgrading this phone to eclair. i highly recommend the new andriod update to everyone :)

Apple phones has even less features than SE handsets, however, they are still considered a Premium brand! It's about quality and experience. Not everything is about specs..
For example look at moto, their phones have really good specs but the fact is that they are the worst performer now and the less profitable company as well! This means that specs are important but what's more important is the quality of the brand and the great experience and let's not forget the good customer support.
Be real and wake up, stop bashing a leading company like Sony.

But what about samsung ?
Not credited with even a single tech in partnership with anyone (no chances of developing any tech on it's own)

USA contributes 90% of the android market!!! Moto leads and also Samsung is up as well
So the reason is clear that why SE is selling else where where the poor markets exist, they cannot compete the most competitive and the biggest (90%) almost whole android market

1.my xperia x10 hs arround 500 mb internal memory,made by china,my question was ,is it upgradable to android 2.1?
2.if i upgrade it, will it support colling frm skype to skype over phone?? Noted: android 1.6 only support
ing skype IM.

When I did... morewell, thats why i recomend to debrand only if you have a known carrier by their slow updating to the user, and its funny . and learn about hacking a phone, 2.1 bring new features but now my battery last one day and half, before lasted two days or more, maybe its because live wallpapers and other nice apps . see you later roar

Having market on X10 is not the question of any application. As it has operating system Android, only you have to do is to sign in or register into your gmail account. To do that you will need internet connection wifi or mobile internet. After registering/signing in you will have normal access to Market from where you will able to download thousands of useful and funny apps. To summarise: It doesn't matter from where you are, it works everywhere:P
