sony....phone is vry gud phone fast i m using sumsung star 3G that my phone has been lost so i have bought the x10somy phone and i relly like & i think that all has to bought this phone

I don't know why my phone X10i version 1.6(R2BA026) can not upgrade to os2.1, so regret the new appears that the x10 can be update, eventualy not available, why update os release not same as apple ios can be charge for all iphone, so android should be amended this technology to challenge with iphone...

Apple is suing the companies that implemented the multitouch in their smartphone. I think SE waits to see if it is better to pay or not to activate it.

So, i thought after the update the MW600 would show the names!!! but y isnt that happening?? should it have bluetooth 2.1??? using the MW600 with the iphone provides the name on it not the number.
Anyone knows how we can do that??

Firstyly none of the phones have "Mega Bass" which is a SONY proprietary bass boost technology. Unfortunately X10 does not support any equalizers at all, but you can download players like Rock player which support equalizers. N8 does have a bass boost function and other equalizers but you cannot manually adjust the equalizer.
Better UI? Android 2.1 X10 hands down. Android is way ahead of Symbian. But Symbian may be more easy to use and familiar. If you are geeky, X10 is for you. If you prefer simple familiar UI go for N8
As for apps, Android has a greater, much greater app collection. Second highest after Apple iOS. But with N8 u get ovistore unlimited from where u can download all apps and songs free for 1 year.
Its quite simple actually, if u want a smartphone go for X10. Its a much better smart phone. But if u wont use your phone for work but more of a "phone", make calls, send text messages, listen to music, watch videos and take photos i.e. multimedia then the N8 is hard to beat.
So decide what you are looking for and then make a choice. You cant go wrong with either in any case. Both are good phones.
And though u did not ask, the music quality on both is excellent. With N8 u can get 5.1 DOLBY sound if u connect it to your HDTV/Home theater.

I have been using this phone for the past 3 months.previously i was using Nokia i had N95 n N97 never thought i would jump into sony ...but taking chances i did ...Guys am now in love wit sony...best phone i hav ever used...gr8 screen ..2.1 is really cool...just go to the store close ur eyes n select this phon prior to any nokia...its worth buyin...

[deleted post]i hv xperia x10..... i like three things on this phone, 1..,gud camera ...fast processer....gud scree and display....,bad so many things......bad voice clarity....loudspeaker its really very slow...no radio...cant do video cAlling....no seconday camera....cant use this phone as a modem....
