There are many concepts, and those concepts will be real. The mobile phone evolution is so interesting, it is so exciting. Next year Nokia, SE, and LG too will have phones announced with 4+ inch screen, you will see that. Very soon the mobile phone companies will reach the screen limit, and then they will make virtual screen phones. I can't wait to see such a phone, and we don't need to wait more than 3 years to see the first ones. :)

The technology will be more advanced, the mobile phone technology will be MORE advanced, do you think that the screen resolution is perfect right now? NO, it is not perfect yet. In the future you will see many XGA screen phones. Motorola will make phones with XGA screen in the next 3 years, don't worry. Nokia will make too XGA screen phones in the next 2,3 years. In the near future we will see a LOT of XGA screen phones, maybe even better ones. In the following 2 years we will have phones with virtual screens, when this technology will reach the limit. Imagine what kind of phones we will have in ten years. Then all the phones with this design and technology will be discountinued. We will have phones with 500 Gb, 4 Gb of Ram and so on...

[deleted post]Where is the 1.3 GHZ CPU Motorola phone? I didn't saw it. Moto fans, I want to say something. Don't try to be proud of a phone what is NOT announced, and what could be not available world wide. At least the X12 will be available everywhere in time. And I know that the X12 exists!

x12 sure will have amazing... moreI disagree with you, because the X12 will be available on the markets much faster then the X10 was. I just like the specs of that phone. You will see, that phone has a 16 Million colors, has HD video recording too, and MT as well. Believe me, that SE is a good company.

BY the way the X10's successor will have 16 Million colors, will have an 12 MP camera, FASTER CPU, more Ram... I forgot to tell, that phone will have an XGA screen. SE is a good company, they made mistakes, but they learned, and will NOT repeat these things. There are NO perfect company. Eg Nokia has slower phones then SE. They are left if we talk about Ram. SE phones have flash Menus, Nokia don't have it.

See people, understand the fact that the quality of a screen does not depend on merely how many colors it can display.
The X10 mini/mini pro and the X8 can display 16 million colors, but is the screen on those devices better than the X10 screen?
NOPE!!!
Why? Because there are a lot of other things that decide how good a screen is :)
So stop crying about the 65k colors, its great already. If not best in the market, its at least on par with other TFT LCD displays like the Moto XT720 etc.

the screen of this phone is 65k colours regardless of OS version.Even it is updated to 2.1 there is no be difference,so it is pointless to discuss.if you don't belive me go to sony ericsson developer world site and download white paper of x10

x10 is limited for sure about multitouch and cannot get better than 65K colors. Yes SE doesn't want to release a buggy update and take long because of the UI Time&Media Scape that why Eclaire's update will first be release provably in the end of october and the updated UI to follow in december.
Means the best on x10 (UI Time&MediaScape kill the update cycle of this device. OH YES.
x10 no adobe flash 10 not because of 2.1 featurings limitations because Droid with 2.0 was build in with flash 10.
HD Video record doesn't depend of the screen capacities but you get a poor view even if you get HD record compare to 16M colors.
x10 will get updated yes but very late and still with limited featurings which make it a outdated smartphone compare to performance of upcoming middle phones with less than 1Ghz and pre-installed with Froyo.
In my opion those who bought the x10 can keep it and wait for the update but if you want a news phone x10 it is really limited on hardware and software. All android users need the advantage of their OS actually Froyo but the upcoming Gingerbread will be released soon while honeycomb is already announced but for all that they is no hope for x10.

A: Because SE is still working on Eclair 2.1 update for the X10 family. IT will be released OTA by the end of this month or early november at the earliest.
Why are there taking so long to release 2.1?
Because SE wants the 2.1 update to be bug free and enhance the user experience with the new firmware.
Why no Adobe flash 10?
Adobe Flash 10.1 is an integrated feature of android 2.1 Froyo, 2.1 Eclair does not support Adobe Flash 10.1
Why no multitouch?
Because the X10 screen does not have the required hardware for multi touch
Why still with the update to Eclair x10 will no have all those featurings?
Because the features are not supported by 2.1 or because of hardware limitations
Why and How HD Video record with 65K colors?
HD video recording has nothing to do with the screen my friend :)
HD video recording will be similar to SE Vivaz.

One thing that important to maximise battery life is the initial charging, it is still being a question whether we have to recharge the battery at the first time of usage for about 8 to 12 hours or not (usually the manual says to stop charging when the batt indicator is full already, or after 2.5 to 3 hours of charging), while I think you we should charge the battery for a few more hours in order to calibrete
the battery so it can use its maximum capacity.
