I've had this phone for about 18 months and it died without warning last week. Nothing happened to it, it just won't turn on or charge, it's dead.
I did like the quality of the camera and the size of the phone, however the battery life seemed to be hit or miss. I'm bummed that it only lasted me 18 months because it died before I'm allowed to upgrade through my service provider, but after any warranty expired, so it's going to cost me a bundle to get a new phone now. Interestingly, my friend had the same phone for about the same time period and it died abou 10 days ago too. Sony Conspiracy? ;) hmmm....

It probably should still be running on 2.2. Keep in mind this phone is over 2 years old now. Get a 2 year old bargain priced PC and compare it to today's and see what the differences are. Personally, I still prefer my X10 over my work issued 4S. Because I have control, I dictate how I use my phone, not Apple.

tHIS phone really sucks. i bought this for just 1 week and i cannt charge it. Red light keeps on blinking. 2ndly i cant not upgrade it to 2.3.......

Terrible phone. It's laggy, freezes up often, even when overlooked to its maximum it freezes. The battery just reached 54 degrees centigrade and maybe lasts a few hours of use. Not to be recommended to anyone. Very unresponsive screen and lack of updates has turned me towards custom roms, but even then support is poor.

Riminiscencs, 23 Jul 2012I think everything is fine even competing today's market .... moreIt's definitely not fine. This isn't better than even the Galaxy S or iPhone 4, how can you say it's FINE today? It's laggy, slow, 'thick'. The camera may be okay, the screen isn't the worst, but overall it's nothing today.

I think everything is fine even competing today's market
....but has poor external sound....takes 4 hrs to charge and lacks auto flash.....but then every smartphone has its own problems...if only sony provides an Android ice cream sandwich official update it still is a long race horse.
