Guys I must admit that se did a stupid mistake by delaying the x10, and I'm one of the users that really got angry yesterday. But then seriously this is the first android device from se.
I mean come on, it's the first and it's very good indeed. Look at the first android from moto, htc, samsung all of them are sh*t trust me, very bad, no one even knows about them or cares about them.
And for the idiot who compared a hyundai to ford, there was at least 65 years difference between both of them. However, it was only 2 month difference between the first moto and first se phone ! 2 month is not too much, maybe 6 month or even 4 month is acceptable, but 2 month just shows that how strong se and how bad moto are.
Moto still don't have a 1Ghz version that is available worldwide! While SE has this a year ago! Moto better than se well my as*
Anyway trust me, se produced the best first android phone, so just wait and see what will they have in the future, they will blow peoples mind away.

can anyone help me. my phone speaker is dead. even if i max the ringing/media volume to its max level didn't help. but when i use my earphone, there's sound coming out from the earphone. i have 1.6 android and I'm from Philippines. please give me some opinions/suggestions. should i bring it to the qualified service center or reboot my phone to its factory reset status?

Stupid small screen size it should be at least 11.5 cm and it doesn't have a HD video recording

Oh!!!!! I came to know the reason of delayed update....
If u came to know the reason, u all x10 users will kiss ur x10 a hundred times and say "x10 is best!!!" U all will be fascinated what SE can do!!!
But I will keep the secret, will not post.... secret!!! :D

Just felt I needed to add my two cents about the X10 update delay :)
If you don wanna read, don't read. :)
1. Yes it is disappointing that SE delayed the 2.1 update (2.2 is what we would be happy with) and I perfectly understand if most X10 owners are extremely upset. :)
2. At the same time X10 is SE's first attempt at Android and I guess we can give it to them that they want to release the update only when they sort out all issues with 2.1 and give the users a good working 2.1 Eclair.
3. X10 is in fact one of the most reliable and mostly a bug free android device. :) Almost every other Android phone has numerous bugs and issues (You can check forums of those phones for proof) People discuss bugs, fixes and problems in other Android phone threads but here in the X10 all we have is people waiting for 2.1 and some guys bashing X10. Not much of problems or bugs. :)
4. IT did discourage me at first not to get an X10 on my bday but now I have :) Cuz there were no other good options (Galaxy S, XT720, desire.... they all luk UGLY IMO)
SO yea it will be a short wait for me now, i guess a month till I get 2.1 and then X10 would be a great device. :)

Last year you know that they had very big financial problems, but they survived, thanks to the Satio, Vivaz, X10 Mini. Those phones gained profit 4 them. The X10 is not so popular, because has the old Android version. SE will not make the same mistake, the X12 will come with the version 2.2, and it will support the Gingerbread. The X10 is their first Android smart phone. The first Android Motorola smart phone was better then the X10?? The answer is: NO! Every company with a new product are not so good. The second product will be better, the third MUCH better. I hope you get me. And I am sorry 4 my english.

I know, everybody know that SE delayed the update, but the version 1.6 is NOT that bad. The X10 has some great things Nokia lacks 4 example. And the X12 will be announced early November. The X11 will be announced too if the rumors are true. The SE CEO said that they will announce something big. :)

I can understand you. They made a big mistake again, but don't worry, the X12 will be announced in early November. You know the specs of that phone. I am disappointed again. If the X12 will not have those awesome features, I will leave them, and I will go 4 HTC.

i don't know why other x10 user are bragging about the delayed update. i'm a little disappointed but i'm not regretting buying this phone. the phone still serve its purpose and its working well. does the delayed update make the x10 useless? does the delayed update make your phone worthless, does it stop serving its main purpose? i don't think so.. lets just wait guys..
the only regret you will get is if you sell your x10..
its worth the wait!!!

if it's ur phone......then they will show up automatically in mediascape,provided they r mp4,wmv,3gp..........anything other than that u wud need rock player which u can download frm the market.

how to download mp3 songs to xperia x10?? when i download a pdf file and try to open it gives a message saying no enough memory. I have more than 7 gb free memory... please advice
