Go to XDA developers,they are suppose to be the best in this area.Or better find someone,from a phone repair shop or something who knows how to safely install a good ROM on your phone..Good luck!

Just wanna check with you guys if you know how can i update my sony xperia x10i to 4.0.4 or any latest 4.0 update.. i m even ok with jailbroke.. but need it urgently.. please help i tried googling it but all in vain... so please help... this is my last hope...

Angry ATT Customer, 11 Jun 2012Sore AT and T customer, I have had THREE Sony Ericsson (... moreIt's a good phone...It's not Galaxy 3(whitch I'm gonna try to get me one) but it's capable enought to please many users..You probably have a bug or something that's causing you those problemes...Upgrade to 2.3.3 or reinstall your 2.1 soft again...It should fix it..Good luck!...!

Shuvro, 12 Jun 2012Battery is too poor..........how can solve it.....???Most smartphones have a short battery life...it's(a pretty small) price to pay for the benefits provided by such a phone....Turn off Wi-fi,Bluetooth,GPS when you're not using then....set the display's brightness to half....Listen to music with headphones,set the phone to airplane mode when you're not using it...and also install a battery saver from the market...All of those things combined should improve the battery life..If you're still not satisfied buy an extended capacity battery from Mugen or Momax...it has 2500 Mah...never used one so I can't guarantee but heard they're pretty good..

Its battery is no that bad i would suggest you u can retart ur phone and put its battery outside frm it and after 5 min u can turn ur ph on and then charge it full and then dont charge it again and again let its battery be consumed till red .. iff problem still there then change ur battery

Sore AT and T customer,
I have had THREE Sony Ericsson (X10a) models in the last year and they all have been DEFECTIVE! AT and T wont send me a different phone ude their in-effective and useless warranty policy. They send me a refurbished phone that is still defective. Their policy is useles and I wil lfile a complaint with the FCC and to Sony about this phone.
Based on the symptoms of the phone behavior I am convinced its the operating system. Mu current replacemnet contains Firmware Version 2.1 Update 1, Baseband version 2.1.65, build number 2.1.a.0.492 and Kernel Version 2.6.29 etc.
When I set the Alarm the phone goes into a reboot cycle and the alarm never goes off and the battery indicators turns red. I have to remove the battery and restart the system and then quickly and manually intercept the reboot cycle before the phone shuts off so I can disarm the alarm. This takes several attempts. The other problemt is the google Navigator. The navigator will start working ok but then a few minutes into the trip, it shut the phone off. This is a repeatable event.
I hage had similiar problems with the other two x10a moduels I have had in the pat year.
The phone SUCKS! Do not get one. Shame on you Sony and AT and T for the lousy customer serfice and poor quality control on this tin can piece of garbage you call a cellphone.

I do use x10. but I can't open the android market
it doesn't let me sign in to my google account using wi-fi or data services.

manish physio, 07 Jun 2012it sucks , battary got empty faster...If you use custom ROM or an app like Juice Defender, it will last longer, and all phone which have the same display size (4 inch) will act the same, as the display eats a lot of juice. I have tried different phones..
