Don't know if your question was answered or not.
You can create folders using an app called Astro File Manager which you can download from Android Market.
Instead of Rock Player you can try yxplayer. which can be downloaded from here

remove brackets.
You can remove that annoying message by uninstalling the app. Goto Settings -> Application -> Manage Application and click on left hardware button ...select filter scroll to Third Party.. Now find the app Rock Player and click on it. Click uninstall :)

I know its kinda confusing buying a phone.
Since you're on Xperia X10 forum, can give you precise info on how we feel about the phone. Milestone is a good phone if you're looking for a Xenon flash and it states Up to 4 h 30 min (2G) / Up to 9 h (3G) which i think if false it should have been the other way around...9h for 2G and 4hr 30min for 3G would have made more sense. But anyway battery on any android phone is not gonna be better than a symbian or java phone. Milestone has stock android OS just an FYI . HTC desire is a nice phone and competes well with X10, and probably one is left with the question? which one should should u buy?
If you're looking for camera,social networking,design then go for X10 else go for desire coz there is hardly any difference between the two. Desire has multi-touch if you're interested in one.

I can only say I agree with you.
I heard about this phone in November and bought it in May so after a long time digging for the truth about this phone. In fact, I waited for the confirmation of the update to Android 2.1 and my main fear is that the support stops at the end of the year.
I also read different things about multitouch but I used it very few on my previous phone so I thought it wasn't a problem to me. Now I won't complain if I can get it with the next update.
Thanks a lot for giving a feedback to SE, like that we will have a better phone (this one or in the future...).
I hope you will enjoy your xperia x10 more after the update. Really.

Tell you what, compare them side by side by using the Compare on the left side of this page, on the next page, on top, enter the name of the phone you want to compare it to. Or go to a shop, and try all of them, don't buy it yet, just have a feel. Look, touch, and price difference etc. Then do more research about the phone you like most. For me, if it's white, it's worthy of my attention, if it's usable as a phone. That's why I bought the Luster White X10. White phones always gets attention wherever I go to. Just today, someone I don't know, on a restaurant approached me, and said, Is it a phone? Can I see it? Strange, but true...

I have to agree nowadays people will get their information 90% of the time online and 10% to the salesman ...
I remember when I first read the specs of the phone online it said it didn't have multi-touch but hardware wise it could ... then it got sketchy. On the official Sony blog they confirmed the X10 mini and X10 mini-pro wont have multi-touch and the X10 they kept silence.
I'm in Canada in the official provider is Rogers Wireless ... I ask the rep is the phone multi-touch, he told me with the next update for sure ... I ask him can he guaranteed that, he had to call his tech support, the outcome they told me yes it would .. But no where have a seen a confirmation from Sony Ericsson that there will be multi-touch ... Same thing for the application Remote Play. A spokesperson from Sony Ericsson said it was natural for the flagship phone to have this application ... and yet still waiting ...
I agree with you feedback and complaining are not the same ... Look S.E. opened a customer feedback website and the first thing I suggested was the remote play application, and I fallowed the idea to be able so sync with outlook from Microsoft, the low volume and so on ... When I post something in this site or other forum I don't believe I am complaining I am just submitting my opinion like it or not ... We can debate, agree or disagree, but it's my opinion.
I have a love-hate relationship with my X10, I expected a lot and I'm disappointed, but nonetheless it's a good phone.
I know Sony and Ericsson is the fusion of both private entities ... but they still share the Make.Believe. Trademark of Sony. I know whey have their own people, but why don't they do a synergy ... I mean the Sony people that works with the PS3 are one call away!
I have to agree some electronics Sony wins no denial.
I got a PS3, PSP, I use to had a walkman mp3, mini disk and CD player ... and when the S.E. Walkman phone went out, i use to only buy those ...
Like you said yourself those product sold great and are good and I think people have that expectation of Sony to give out the best merchandise ...
Look when the PS3 went out, a lot of people had doubt and 4 years later, they are profitable ...
But the lifetime of a console is nowadays 4 to 6 years before they release an other one ...
But the cellphone industry ... very fast!
Most of the people I know piratically change phone every 6 month or year ... The longest I did was 2 years and I fell like a old dinosaur.
But at the end of the day, I will wait ... for 2.1 and beyond since S.E. said they would continue support for the phone ...
And if they don't listen to the feedback I will still use the phone but @ one point if I find there is no movement, then I will go for HTC!

Go the the samsung galaxy s forums,( i go there and and read and post because i like the phone and i am interesting in reading what is going on about it. )
Go there and read about all the problems they are having with the froyo beta, why rush into a new OS when there are problems, id rather wait and be happy with my current os ( 1.6 ) and have a perfect version to update too.
I am happy with my version and i cant wait to see the new update :) patience is a vertue JUST BTW!
U dont see people that own the phone complaining, only people that complain are the people that DONT own the phone themselves xD
