Hi, im having the same problem as confused...when i connect my SE x10 and I try to access it via "my computer" it says "Insert disc in E drive"
how do we fix this???
I also didn't get a disc with my phone, any tips?

Except Timescape what news on X series. In android we are first in many things. Look at this Motoroi 8 MP Xenon and TV Broadcast build in with 24 channels free in South Korea vs X8i TV with poor battery. How are you going to wash that TV? We do care because in android we are the best. That simple.

So don't say around the corner to make people happy. Where did you get that news? Please check again the featurings that comes with 2.2 and check the benchmarks result between 2.2 devices and 2.1 or 1.X you will stop talking so.

I just think this phone is a big disappointment … not the design or specs but just software wise!
No update to 2.2, no multi-iouch, no DNLA, and so on…
--> You are free to think so but you are talking about specifications (software specifications) whereas most of the people in this forum enjoy the user experience. BTW the DNLA comes with the next update or the one promised for Q4.
I’m happy, I didn’t had to pay for the phone, it was a gift … but if I would … I would probably go crazy and send hate mail to Sony Ericsson …
--> I don't believe so because as a smart person, before buying the phone you try it or collect information about it and then decide. If you do so but buy it and then you complain, I think you are stupid !
How come there is no integration with the Sony products it was suppose to be the best of the Cybershot brand and the Walkman brand … But … they failed …
--> In the Android world this phone had the best camera when it was released and it still is one of the best. In case you don't know: Android has some shortcomings and the camera is one of them. Concerning its sound now. The sound is great if you use the headset. I agree to say the speaker is too low.

Actually SE understand why Moto put everything on Android OS. Moto as the first with 23% share will go more ahead because Moto have enough money now to release is phones not only in America but in the all world. Yes Moto doesn't sell very good in Europe, Australia, Africa but wisely targeted some countries that buy a lot of they are devices. "Remenber in Q2 Moto profit was 7 times better than SE" Like USA, China, South Korea, Brazil, UK Milestone 1 was out of stock within 3 hours, now Canada. This changing because Moto planned to release version GSM and CDMA like Moto XT806 at the same time with Verizon to promo the High end Moto and always work close with Google to be one of the first to come out with the new OS. Now Moto in the game of releasing phone worldwide, is x10 going to take Moto place? With all new Moto featurings and capabilities?
* Strongest android's phone with metalic body.
* Crystal talking. Now even more performant Crystal talking Plus with 3 micro to cancel the background noise find in Droid X and Droid 2.
* First Android water resist and water proof. Angainst raindrops Milestone 2 and 10 m deep in the water Moto Defy also known like Kobe. Moto Jordan, Moto I1 same featuring.
* First android with trackpad like laptops. Moto backflip, Charm and 2 others.
* Many form fact Moto Flipout, Backflip, Charm and so on.
* All categories of android phone High end Droid 2, Droid X, Midle end Backflip, Defy, Devour, Dext, Low end XT3 and so on.
* One of the best on android update cycle. Milestone release with android 2.0, receive 2.0.1, 2.1, 2.2 coming.
* Finally Moto lead the android world what ever you like it or not.

I’ve been reading all the post and regularly checking on the phone forum … And I see that the phone have a lot of followers …
We weather have the X10a or … you’re a hater…
The first time I heard of that phone I was like FINALLY! I had Sony phones all my life … the simple reason i didn’t want to break my balls to transfer my contacts!
The specs inside were crazy and also I heard they were going to have a remote play app … And I have a PS3 so for me it was a must! Honestly, I barely use the phone to talk, I just use the multimedia … and it sucks!
I just think this phone is a big disappointment … not the design or specs but just software wise!

I’m not joking in my life I had maybe 8 or 9 Sony Ericsson phone …
I use to work in a cell phone store and God is my witness I had to push the sale of the Nokia and Motorolla … and I tough damn Nokia is crap for the design mostly … And Motorolla is Crap … just for about anything (Remember the Razer … so much recall the phone was sexy, but a pricey piece of junk!… Sony for small handset wasn’t perfect but was excellent …
No they want to go in the big league game with the Smart phone ..
They use to be on the top 5 manufacturers but they slipped and slipped …
But with the X10a they’re back on the top 6 … but I believe not for long!
I’ll wait for there next flagship phone …
Remember the X1a, it was a start …
X2 … just wtf
X10a … disappointment ….
X10 mini and mini pro … are those kiddie phones (No disrespect for the users, my g/f have the mini pro and its small and all but damn very limited in the Android world …)
Last thing I am not an expert in phones … I like technology but if they don’t: STEP THERE GAME UP (lol Marcus for PSP – btw again Sony PSP Go HUGE FLOP!!! Because they don’t listen to their clients!).
We will see the future … but I can assure you all the disseminated and frustrated clients or S.E … will probably go to HTC witch I give big props!

But the Xperia X10 fans do not want the number 1 position. They are happy with the handsets feature, design & specification.
The handset has everything that a smartphone needs in todays world.
More over if the other handsets are geting the gingerbread or honeycomb, it no way makes this handset inferior to others.
The handset is good & with the update to 2.1 & then 2.2 around the corner it should be the best.

CEO Bert Nordberg. At an
event in Beijing today,
Nordberg said that his company
aims to be the top supplier of
Android phones.
There’s nothing wrong with that;
any leader should want his
company to top the industry. The
portion of Nordberg ’s statement
that is WTF-inducing is the claim
that Sony enjoys a 17 percent
share of the Android phone
market. I ’m rather surprised that
it would claim a number so high
given that it relies primarily on
the success of the Xperia X10.
How did SE manage to grab 17
percent with Motorola offering so
many form factors and HTC
getting a jump on the
competition with its many
popular phones?
Nordberg says that the current
leader of Android products has a
23 percent share of the Android
Market. He declined to name the
company, but one would have to
assume that Motorola, HTC, or
perhaps both, is ahead of
Nordberg ’s aspirations towards
dominance.

P.S. The road to the top includes a
faster update schedule, so you
might want to work on speeding
up the Timescape port process to
newer versions of Android. That
rumored gaming device wouldn’t
hurt either.
