bear, 27 Aug 2010So, My X10 is just defective. Normally an X10 does not hang... moreall smart phone is easily to hang if u dont use it properly..n battery is drain very faster because x10 use 4inch screen display..

      I have been using my X10 for 3 Months now, thanks to the recent update the battery life is better, I cant wait for the O.S. update I guess by then this will be the best android phone ever to hit the market (just my thought. Please SE dont let me down on this!!! Release the OS Update ASAP. Just one question to other SE X10 users, What is the benefit of ROOTING my phone?

        sony_lover, 27 Aug 2010no radio ?! why ?! wtf?! and.... 65k colours?!Ha! Ha! Move on! Nothing to see here. But I have this phone and I like it, no radio doesn't bother me because I never use it in my previous phones. 65K color doesn't bother me either, screen is too small to see all those pixels. No video call camera, I don't do video call so, I don't need it either. But Timescape and Mediascape are better than stock Android...

Although some program will not work on 1.6, it doesn't mean it will not ever work as intended. Look at it this way, Win XP was considered old by today's standard, but how many actually shifted to Windows 7, because it is old already? There's an article here in GSM Arena that Win XP is still the most popular OS on desktop computer. Same analogy with Androids maybe new version is better but it's not a game changing experience...

              Guys this forum is not for fighting over which handset is good or bad.
              I belive this is to discuss about the Xperia x10.I would really appreciate if people just discussed about the handsed & help the users with their quesry. Updates with regards to the Xperia x10 is welcome.
              All you non xperia users please stay away from this forum.I would request the non xperia users to follow their respective handsets forum & not just curse the users of this great handset.

Wait and see but I can forecast you are going to be disappointed if you think all of them.

Look thinks aren't in that level. We are in Android world actually and X10 is an android phone's. Sadly All SE users don't like any google OS announcement. Why? Google have Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, FroYo and Gingerbread coming in Q4 but Google already announce another OS named Honeycomb. Which make X10 look completly outdated even with 2.1 update in Q4 because most of phone with similar power or even better or less are running already Froyo 2.2 or announced the update to Froyo. Nexus already, Evo 4G, Desir, Incredible, Most of Galaxis series, Droid, Droid x, Droid 2 out of the box but X10 will update in Q4 to 2.1 at the time many will get Gingerbread. In fact HONEYCOMB it's announced but X10 still run a poor OS android 1.6 and you are happy. So just imagine how happy are those are using phones with Froyo? With much speed X2 or X5 faster than 2.1 or less 1.X and much featurings. But you still in trying to use X10 as a 3G modem or PS3 remote, we understand you now. This is your world keep enjoing such things.

The error I think when I downloaded a Facebook app and I can't remember if I overwrite my built-in Facebook. What I did I reinstalled my software my Sonyericsson website. After the installation, I setup all my social networking account but unfortunately my Facebook still does not update (twitter is ok). Please note that when I got this facebook problem, I already have the latest firmware update. Please help what to do. BTW, is there a way to revert the old firmware as this might restore the old facebook also that comes with unit and then I upgrade to the latest firmware update?

                              I just got my Expedia X10. It crushes alot, battery life very short, I send it back to SE for service and update software. Problem still there. Can anybody tell me how to on the camera too? or have a got a damaged phone. Its still under warranty. Should I return for another phone.?

                                        To all sony ericsson user and supporter..my dad works at sony ericsson company..this fone is only can get 2.1 version update because the hardware not support for 2.2 version..the upd8 will comes this september..however dont be sad..because my dad says sony ericsson will announced the new high end device this october..the spec is very amazing..this phone will be xperia series and will be top next years i think..the futeres is:

                                        -12mm thin
                                        -Amoled capacitive touchscreen 4.3 inch with 16m colours
                                        -will have android os 2.2 but will support up8 to 3.0 version
                                        -internal memory is bigger 16gb and micro sd up to 32gb
                                        -the camera will use 12mp with xneon flash and better sensor than satio..
                                        -the processor will use 1.2ghz snapdragon
                                        -support full flash for browser
                                        -the battry i heard is 1500mah..
                                        -the video wil packs 720 at 30fps recording but better than vivaz one..

                                        there is my dad told me..and he tell me that SE will announced w7 mobile too..SE will focus high end devise this the end of 2010 and next years..and im not lying u guys..just wait and see..hope u all will be happy with this news..SE make. believe:)
